It's been months of working on the new album.
Finally, Shawn and I took out a single and I loved it.
I would get notifications on Instagram saying people were following me and I was so happy.

I was just fooling around when my phone rings.
I pick up noticing the caller ID is Shawn's name.
"Hey hey Shawny"
"Hey (y/n)! Guess what!!" said Shawn basically screaming into my ear.
"What?!"
"We got nominated for the AMAs!!"
I dropped my phone and started screaming.
I pick up my phone from the floor and start crying,
"Oh-Oh my gosh, Shawn I can't breathe!!"
"Hahaha calm down! I'll text you the info" says Shawn
"Alright thanks bye!"
I hang up and fall into bed.
What would I wear?

Finally the day has come for the AMAs. I decided to go with a (y/f/c) dress.
I was so nervous since we had to perform our song.
I felt Shawn's hand go on top of mine and I felt a little better.
"Thank you Shawn"
"No problem. I know it's your first time but you'll be great!" said Shawn giving me a million dollar smile.

"And performing their new single together! Please welcome (y/n) (y/l) and Shawn Mendes!" said the host.
We walk on the stage and everyone starts screaming.

"Your voice is so beautiful" said Shawn whispering before I sung my verse.

After a few people won awards the host cleared her throat.
"And the winner for best new single is... (y/n) (y/l) and Shawn Mendes!!!!"
I got up and started crying. I hugged Shawn and he hugged me back. I can't believe this happened in so little time.

I walked with Shawn after the awards and I had a big smile.
"You did great" said Shawn stopping in front of me.
"You did too"
Shawn got closer and I did the same.
We locked our lips together and the kiss was magical.
"I waited so long to do that" said Shawn resting his head on my forehead.
