Chapter 4

Ty's POV

Today had went by super fast. I got yelled at for being asleep during a boring science movie 7th period today. I told Chris we needed to talk later, I wanted her to know that Quan and I had spoken. I texted her.

"Tyiam🙈: Bestfriend is it ok for me to come over? I wanna tell you something .

C-Buggg✨: Of course Ty, I could use the company

Tyiam🙈: Alright, be over in ten minutes"

I got done with my homework and got my keys. The road was slippery so I drove slow. But I finally made it to Chri' house. I used my key to get in.

"I'm home bestfriend" I screamed

"I'm upstairs!!" I heard her tell back at me.

I went up to her room and plopped down onto the bed.

"Guess what Chris?"

"Wassup girl?" She said

"Well....I ran into Quan after 1st period today. We had a 3 minute conversation. I was super hype. He sa-"

I got cut off by Chris' phone ringing, she looked at me. I suggested she answered the call. I played around until she said "See you then" I asked who it was on the phone.

Chris: No one, just Adrienne, she's having a party Friday night and wants me to come.

Ty: Just you?😒

Chris: nah, she said bring someone

Ty: Well, you're taking Bobby, right?

Chris: Nope, I'm dragging you. We're gonna dress you up, style your hair and get you looking sexy, not adorable!

Ty: Nonononono! I'm NOT going to her party. I'd look beyond bland. I'm not popular. I should stay in a non-Populars place.

Chris: Bestfriend, you'll be fiiiine. And you're going.

"Whatever", I spat at her

She laughed

"Matter of fact, we going shopping...tomorrow. We're skipping." Chris said

I gave her a look In shock, "I can't SKIP. My grades are too good to skip Chris and so are yours!!"

Chris: That's exactly why we can! Our grades are great! We can afford to miss ONE day!

Ty: Eh, whatever. Sure, I guess.

Chris: I already have something in mind for you!!

Ty: Whatever Chris, ima be heading home.

My drive home, I was secretly excited about tomorrow and the party. What if I get a little rank? People are going to notice me. I'll be cool!!!

I got home and took my shower and got ready for bed. After my shower, I was bummed. I got into bed and fell asleep
