Cutting's my best option. - therapist! David x depressed!Gwen

"Gwen? I'm ready to see you now." David says in a gentle tone. Gwen gets up and messes Max's hair up. "be good buddy." "Meh I'll try." Max looks at Gwen with a slight smile and two thumbs up. She smiled and turned to the door' going in the room and shutting it. "Welcome back love. How you been doing?" "fine i guess." "That's good... now have you been cutting more lately?" Gwen's eyes widen as she quickly pulls down her sweater sleeve. "No not at all." she says. Her voice sounded shaky. she hates lying to David but then again all the other therapists that she went to would just give up her. if she kept on lying to him he may just give up on her. David always knew that she was lying. But he would never give up on one of his patients, especially Gwen. She has a 10 year old kid to take care of, and he's been through the same situation. He knows what it's like being in her shoes. "arm check." "w-what??" Gwen asked freaked out. "I need to check your arm Gwen." Tugging on both of her sleeves now, she shakes her head in fear. "Gwen c'mon."  she backs up from him. Then it goes to a wild goose chase in the office. Things like paper and documents fell on the floor as the two were running around the office. finally, David came from behind and grabbed her by the waist, picking her up, putting her on the bed (making sure not to hurt her.) he sits down next to her and she sits on his lap. he didn't mind it. He takes her arm and carefully rolls up her sleeve. Cuts. everywhere. He looks up at her with tears in her violet eyes. "I'm sorry... I'm so, so sorry... It's just that cutting's the best option right now... " He wraps her arms around the poor woman, hugging her tightly. Gwen's sobbing.. It breaks his heart that she's crying. "shhh.. it's okay. I'm here. I'll always be here no matter what." "why are you saying that? aren't you going to give up on me like everyone else did?" "No! Never! I love you too much to do such a thing!" He wipes her tears and kisses her cheeks. "Do me a favor and try to control yourself with the cutting and whenever you feel tempted to do so.. um... come to me. okay?" "okay. I promise." Gwen has the cutest grin on her face David can't help but to blush. "Hey I love you." Gwen says kissing his cheek. "I love you too." David says as he kisses her hand.  They both come out of the office smiling, holding hands. "Finally! What took you guys so long??" Gwen shrugs and  holds Max's hand. "Thanks David. See you t'night?" "sure thing love! See you tonight." Both Max and Gwen left with smiles on their faces. Knowing that Gwen's going to be okay gives Max joy. Gwen, going out with David and spending time with her son gives her even more joy. she's thankful for all the boys being there for her. "wanna go to the park Max?" "yeah."
