Temptations hide under the crevasses of the earth
And makes you lose your sense of worth
It sneaky and tempting
Like time is slowly sinking
It engulfs you and makes you lose sight of whats important
You even lose the chains of reinforcement
You know the warnings
Yet you blind yourself with worthless earnings
It grabs you at your darkness hour
And makes you lose sight of power
But you have to be stronger
And lose sight of that which is colder
Spread your wings and feel what is warmth
Know that you can make it through
And know that God's got you
