Bobby and Baby waited outside the Brookesend Institution. It was three in the morning and they didn't know what to do next.
"What do we do now? We can take out any staff that's on duty now and then go," said Baby.
"We wait until the morning, go in and round everyone up, then we take it from there," replied Bobby.
"Are you sure that you still want to do this? We could turn back right now,"
Baby was becoming hesitant. She had a bad feeling about what was coming.
"No. We've been through this and we've came too far to turn back now," said Bobby bluntly.
Baby immediately became submissive and lay on the back seat of the car. She loved Bobby but she thought this was a step too far, a step that was sure to ruin them. They were talking mass murder.
Detective Dean remained at the hotel trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together before Bobby and Baby could kill again. Even though Madge was still considered missing, his gut feeling was that she was already dead. They had no reason to keep her alive. He had nothing left to go on and was becoming more frustrated as the minutes went by. He threw down his papers and turned on the TV to watch the news.
"Bobby and Baby, previously residents at the Brookesend Institution, have now been on the run for two days now..." said the news reporter.
"That's it! Why didn't it click to me before that the institution would be on their hitlist," Dean shouted to himself.
He grabbed his coat and raced to his car. If he was right, he wanted to get to Bobby and Baby before they did anything stupid. It was late and the rain pelted the ground, but he had hope that he would finally catch up to them. He needed to catch up with them. He understood that they were trying to send out a message and he understood it loud and clear. They were angry and they were scarred but this wasn't the way to be heard. Many people in the world were scarred but they didn't go around killing people, they found a reason to live, to keep going.

Dawn was breaking and Baby hardly slept a wink. Bobby was snoring his head off in the laid back passenger seat. All Baby could think about was today was the day she was going to jail. As faithful as she was to Bobby, she knew she wouldn't be able to handle jail. She couldn't handle the abuse all over again.
"Bobby wake up! It's 9.30am and I think we should get going," said Baby.
"Ahh Baby, it's early. Why don't you get a few more hours sleep?" yawned Bobby.
"I can't fucking sleep and I can't fucking sit out here anymore neither, so if we're gonna do this, we're gonna do this now. I want this to be over," said Baby firmly.
By now Bobby was sitting up and listening with both ears. Baby had never been so feisty with him, but he liked it. He knew that she was serious. She wanted out.
"Okay. Get everything ready. I'm gonna have a quick cigarette and when I get back we'll get started, happy?"
"Just hurry up," sighed Baby.
She wanted to live the life she and Bobby had talked about. Hide away in their little apartment deep in the woods. A place they could finally call home and mean it. She prepared the smoke canisters and the semi-automatic hand gun Bobby had stolen a while back. They had twenty-six rounds to take twenty-six lives. They were only there for the ones that hurt them, but Baby knew that Bobby wouldn't hesitate to shoot anyone that got in his way.
"You got the stuff together?" checked Bobby.
"Yeah,"
"You remember the plan?"
