3:26 a.m July 4,1960
Im currently on a bus to los Angeles. Im sitting next to this very nice lady who gave me a flower. I kindly take it and we sit and chat. Her name was Devyn. She said she is trying to go see her boyfriend, Corey. I thought that was the most sweetest thing ever. My stop had arrived so i said my good bye and left. Im in los Angeles, the place were dreams come true. Were I want my dreams to come true. I going and looking around to get a place to spend the night and a quick bite to eat.

9:19 p.m July 4, 1960
When I was eating I met this waiter named Colby. I had asked if he was going to the fireworks tonight and he said yes. I then kindly ask if I could join. Colby and I are sitting in the grass waiting for the fireworks. Colby is asking me questions. Tonight I had gained a friend that I hope will stay.
He also asked me a question
"Why are you here but not with your family"
"I get around"
