Here's a really long chapter. I enjoyed writing this and I hope you enjoy reading it. Enjoy!!!
Stephen's pov
So it's been about 2 months since draft day and that means that me and Haley have been together for about a month. I really want her to be mine. I want to call her my girlfriend and eventually my wife. But I want to find the right time to make her mine, and I think that tonight is the perfect time.
I woke up and Haley was still asleep so I decided to go get some breakfast because she always makes me breakfast and she deserves a meal with out having to cook and we all know I can't cook.
Haley's pov
I woke up and Stephen wasn't there and I could smell something that smelled like heaven. I got up and went downstairs. I saw Stephen seating the table. I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around him.
"Good morning beautiful." he said turning around and hugging me and planting a soft kiss on my lips.
"Did you cook this?" I asked as we pulled away. We stood there staring at each other for a few minutes. then bursts out laughing at the thought of Stephen cooking.
"No I picked up some IHOP. I know it's one of your favorites."
"Thank you." I said giving him another hug and then sitting down to eat.
Later
After we ate Steph challenged me to a game of 2k14. He said if he wins he gets the shower first if I win I get it first. He ended up wining by 5.
"Don't take to long." I said giving him the puppy dog face. He picked me up and ran up stairs carrying me bridal still. When we got to the top he carried me into the bathroom.
"What are you doing?"
"We're going to take a shower together." he said giving me that adorable little smile of his.
"Alright but no funny business we have to be at Klay's at 4:30 and it's 2:00."
After our shower we got dressed. I put on my pink and turquoise tribal print bikini and some dark blue shorts that fade to light blue. For my top I had on a love pink tank. I put my hair in a messy bun and put on some plain brown flip flops. I walked down stairs and saw Stephen sitting in the living room on his phone. He had on a gray v-neck and some neon green swim trunks. He had his sunglasses on the front of his shirt and a SnapBack on backwards and some white slides.
"You look hot." Stephen said looking me up and down as I walked down the stairs.
"Thanks. your not to bad your self." I said smiling.
"You ready?" he asked putting his arm around me.
"Yep."
At Klay's house
When we got there klay was a mess. He was running around the room trying to make everything perfect and set up the backyard.
"Klay claim down." Stephen said
"Just sit down and take a break we'll make sure everything is ready." I said walking him over to the stairs. "why don't you go take a shower and get ready. Just relax." I told him He nodded and thanked me before walking up the stairs.
I walked back over to Stephen and he pulled me into a hug.
"We've got a lot of work to do in an hour and a half." Steph said pecking my lips as we pulled apart. We then began to pick up the inside and eventually made our way outside.
"Thanks for all the help." Klay said once we were finished. "I couldn't of done any of this with out you guys." He said over looking the his backyard. We had the bar set up and the bartender klay had hired was already making some special drinks. There was a DJ set up on one part of the yard and Klay had his grill area all set up. And in the far side of the yard there was a sitting area with a fire pit.
"Bring it in." Steph said pulling both of us in for a group hug. We all laughed and went and grabbed a drink until the rest of the guests arrived. Soon after everyone arrive the place was bumping. music was blasting people we drinking, dancing, and having a good time in the pool.
I was sitting in the side of the pool in my bikini with my feet hanging over the side. Stephen, Harrison and Klay were standing in front of me and we were drinking and talking about just anything.
"We'll I better go check on the food." klay said pulling him self over the side of the pool.
"I'll come help." Harrison said following Klay. It was now just me and Stephen.
"You look hot in that bikini." Steph said as he stood directly in front of me and held my hands. I leaned down and kissed him passionately.
"You mean the world to me and I'll do anything for you." He said kissing me again. When he pulled away he pressed his forehead against mine and we stared into each other's eyes. All of a sudden I could hear a helicopter approaching and everyone going "awwww". I looked up and saw the helicopter pulling a banner that had the picture of the first time me and Steph had our first date. Below the picture it read "will you be my girlfriend?" I looked at Stephen who had this goofy but adorable smile on his face.
"A million times yes!" I squealed. Stephen grabbed me by the waist and pulled me in the pool with him. I wrapped my legs around him and my arms around his neck. He held me with his hands on my butt and he pressed his lips on mine. When we pulled apart for air he pressed his forehead on mine and we just stared into each other's eyes. Then out of nowhere Harrison yells"CANNONBALL!!" and jumped in the pool right in front of us. We just laughed it off even thought it ruined our moment and got us and everyone around us completely soaked.
The food that klay cooked was amazing. who knew he could cook? But anyway me and Steph were back home now and we're laying in bed. He pulled me close and intertwined our hands and legs. We laid there staring into each other's eyes.
"Tonight was amazing." I said breaking the silence.
"It really was." Steph said as he placed a long passionate kiss on my lips. when we pulled away I burred my head in his chest and we fell asleep soon after.
Hey guys so I finally updated! I had fun writing this chapter and I like how it turned out. what do you think. I'm trying to add more details to my chapters now. but what do you guys want to happen in the story. and also what do you think about Kerr being the new coach of the warriors? I like him as a person and as a player but I'm not sure how he will be as a coach but I'm sure it work out. I have one more full day and two half days until summer!!! I can't wait!
