Arranged Marriage

A/N: Before I continue with another short story let me just say something, this story is based on a sort story essay in class but I decided to make it longer. It's also based on the older days when arranged marriage was common. Now let's get this story started. Sorry that this is not edit yet

It was a beautiful Sunday morning, when Andy, my fiancé took me out on a walk. He thought it would do us good and we'll get to know each other more. Andy and I are having an arranged marriage. Which I'm not really happy about because I don't think we'll ever fall in love. We're to different and I have nothing in common with him. I don't know what my parents were thinking when they arranged this and decides Andy is 3 years older than me. In 16 while he's 19. We were walking towards the beautiful lake. When we got their it was blooming with life. Their were boats, people were fishing, kids were playing, and family's were having picnics or quality time. I started to think about the future. We'll I someday have a family. I wondered if I would have kids or be a lonely women who might be married but was being cheated on. I thought that I might have the very same life as my mom. My mom was a good women and has always been their for me. Something made me snap out of my thoughts. When I realized what it was, it was Andy talking yet again.

"So Liz what do you think about this mess" Andy asked while looking out at the shinning lake.

"We'll Andy all I've ever wanted was to fall in love not be obligated to be with someone whom I don't know" I said looking down at the floor

"Well do you want to know a secret?" He asked

"Yea go ahead" I said

"Well I remember almost 5 months ago I saw this beautiful girl dressed in a blue dress. She was gorges, but I feared that I would never see her again. But a few weeks later I saw her at this exact lake. She was having fun with friends. At that moment I knew that I had to meet her. But I never got the chance to do so. Until now, but she dose not seem happy anymore. And every time I look at her I breaks my heart to know its my fault she's miserable. But it seems that I can't let her go so she can go be happy with someone else. Call me selfish I know" he said

"Then don't let her go. Chase after her and make her happy" I said but with some unknown feeling in my heart

"You see it's not that easy. She won't even look at me when I'm talking. That's how much she hates me. And I can't do anything about it. I feel like if I loose her than I'll loose myself. Do you understand Liz?"

"Than it's her lost that she can't see how much you love her."

"Liz do you want to know who the girl is?" Andy asked

"I guess"

"It's you." He said.

"Wh-what!!!" I said I could not believe my ears.

"It's been you this whole time. So Liz are you willing to give this a try?" He asked

"I don't know we don't even have a single thing in common"

"How do you know if your never willing to get to know me."

"But what I give you the chance but after sometime you'll get board and start cheating on me just like my parents."

"How do you know what will happen if you never take a chance?" He said sounding very serious.

Andy kept on talking about me believing in us. But I just kept looking out in to the lake, until I saw something that cough my attention. I was a happy couple walking around and being happy. They both looked like they really loved each other. I felt jealous of them. All I've ever wanted was to be happy, I wanted to have someone look at me with love in their eyes. All I wanted to fell loved. And be loved.

"You know we can also be happy like that couple." He said not daring to look alway from them.

"You think so?" I asked

"If we put our minds to it we'll make it happen" he said looking in to my eyes as he continued,"So let me ask you once more are you willing to take a chance with me?"

"Yes I am but I'm still afraid" I said

"What are you afraid of?" He asked

"That one day you'll wake up and notice you don't love me anymore and leave me or start cheating on me"

"Trust me a girl like you is impossible to find, and if I ever stop loving you which there is no way in which I will, I will find a way to fall for you again and again. And you ever fall for me I'll always be their to catch you and not let you fall alone because you'll always have me by your side. So what do you say are you ready to fall for me?" Andy asked

"Yes I'm ready to fall for you" I said and with that we kissed
