I Wanna Party (Rio fanfic)

Partying in Rio somewhere at a club

I watch Nico dancing and singing with his best friend Pedro and it takes all my willpower not to drool at him.

Dang he is one hot bird like oh my Jesus.

He catches me staring and smiles at me easily. Maybe I am drooling which would be entirely embarassing.

Pedro catches both of us staring at each other and shoves Nico towards me and we end up dancing, one of his wings wrapped around my waist. Our gazes stay locked and his awesome adorable brown eyes are sparkling, drunk off of just having a good time.

Nico spins me around and all the other birds back off to watch us. he dips me low to the floor and then spins me around and back to him and I laugh with happiness. 

He holds me close as a somewhat slow song comes on and  he whispers to me. "So Rae what are you here for?" He asks me.

"Good question." I say flirtatiously. "What answer are you expecting?" He pulls away from me slightly to look at me with that boyish look that says 'I party al the time baby' and made me melt from the start.

"I want you to tell me." He says, voice low.

I just want to melt into him God this bird is so awesomely hot and sexy.

I lean my head forward nex tto his ear. "I'm here for you." I whisper and he laughs.

"Good. Cuz I didn't think I could wait for you any longer." He says, locking his gaze on mine and mesmerizing me on the spot.

A song with a more pumped up rythym comes on and we keep to the beat, dancing in sync with each other and out of the corner of my eye I see Rafael and Pedro watching us and giving Nico the 'getting lucky, eh' look.

As far as I was aware, Pedro and rafael had been trying to get Nico and I together for 'ages' as they put it when they talked to me separately from him. Not to mention I didn't even know thta Nico liked me but hey, I was so not complaining now.

He was a really good dancer and from watching him all those other times I knew exactly how his moves were.

"Come with me." Nico whispers inmy ear and he starts to fly away, out of the club.

I fly with him and feel the excitement rush through me at the prospect that we're finally flying side by side, my fantasy finally come true.

"Where're we going?" I ask Nico breathlessly.

"When's the sunset?" He answers with a question.

I laugh and he settles on that statue thing that looks like Jesus.

I sit next to him and we both look out across the water at the sunset.

It's gorgeous and I just want to capture the moment and live in it forever.

I know that sounds really cheesy but it's true.

Nico wraps one of his wings around me and I lay my head on his shoulder. "I love you, you know." He says. "I have since I first layed eyes on you."

"Mmmm" I murmur. "And I love you too." I whisper and we watch the sunset in a comfortable silence.

For a more party-type bird Nico really knows how to slow down and have a romantic evening.
