I Wanna Party (Rio fanfic)

A random Arrival

The next day Nico Pedro and I are just flying around Rio and are like 'yeah whatever' or something when tey, or rather Pedro, sees a blue mcaw in the back of one of the humans' cars and points itout to us.

I roll my eyes. "Off you go then boys." I smirk and Nico kisses me in excitemet andflies off after I let him know that I'm off to see Rafael and his many kids.

"Hey." I call to Rafael who's sitting on the egg, the baby who's on the way.

"Hey Rae what's up?" Rafael asks me.

"Nico and Pedro are off to talk to a tourist." I give a noncomittal shrug. "A blue mcaw." I clarify.

Rafael perks up. "Last of his kind?"

I shrug and he shakes his head at me.

"How're the kids?" I ask.

"Giving me grey feathers." Rafael complains and I snort.

"You don't say." I smirk.

"If I were you I'd go back to Nico cuz I bet their done chatting up the tourist." Rafael says with a knowing smile.

"Sure." I roll my eyes as I get ready to take off. "See you later.............. probably." I say and Rafael just waves a wing and I'm off.

The wind through my feathers feels so good and I close my eyes as I fly.........and smash directly into someone.

"Oh jeez." I say and open my eyes. "You ok?" I ask only to see it's Nico and he's alone.

"I'm fine now you're here." Nico smiles easily at me and I roll my eyes as he pulls me to him and kisses me.

I giggle. "So might I be able to take you on a walk around this fine town?" Nico asks in an odd British accent that so does not fit him.

I refrain from rolling my eyes with laughter this time. "Why yes you may." I sy with a British accent that was way better than his and he wraps a wing around me and we start walking randomly around a park, under trees with flowers on the that sprinkle us with rosy petals.

"It's gorgeous." I murmur, more to myself than to Nico.

"Mhmm." Nico sits beneath one of the trees and pulls me down next to him. "what's on your mind?" He asks, holding my my gaze with his.

"Dance music." I reply honestly.

"Oh really?" He cocks an eyebrow at me.

"Mhmmm." I say and start humming randomly to an upbeat song, probably American, possibly by Ke$ha, possibly Die Young.

Nico starts humming along with me.

This, as it turns out in the end, has both of us singing beautifically and doing some really fast dance work that leaves me breathless.

"I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums oh what a shame that you came here with someone but now you're here in my arms let's make the most of this night like we're gunna die young" We finish triumphantly and with him holding me close to him, his mesmerizing brown eyes on mine, holding me in a sort of dipped low position.

He sweeps me off my feet and spins me in a circle and I can't hold back the laugh as I reach my state of bliss.

"Come on!" He says mischievously and races into the air, flying faster than I've seen him fly (which was a lot).

I take off after him and we end up meeting Pedro near Luiz the bulldog (of who I don't particularly like to be near due to his medical condition that has it so he drools all the time (not my style at all)).

As we all fly though, we spot Rafael and the blue mcaw dude who........has a female companion?

Ok then.

They are also chained together.

Lovely.

I swoop down and land next to Nico and then sorta space out cuz I'm technically a little bored and still have dancing music in my head, infecting me so much that I'm tapping my foot to a beat that's fast and shaking slightly, showing the fact I want to dance.

*Time Lapse*

We're in a club and Nico and Pedro have started a really upbeat song for Jewel (the female blue mcaw we met) and Blu (the male and other half of Jewel) and Rafael is convincing Blu to dance with Jewel.

I listen to Nico sing and he's like, really good.

Like really really good.

"I wanna party I wanna somba I wanna party I wanna somba I wanna party and live my life I wanna party and fly!" I find myself singing in sync with Nico and he winks at me and dances his way to my side where we dance, moving in sync with one another and Pedro continues singing along with Nico and I.

"Cuz I just wanna live my life and party! All I want is to be free and rock my body!"

Jewel ends up getting thrown up into the air by Blu which I thought was rather romantic and she sings beautifically and then as soon as she lands and I see they are about to kiss, sunlight flashes us all and I'm temporarily blind but clear it up by blinking ten times faster than normal.

Our party was crashed by......................................... monkeys? Really?

I let out a dramatic sigh and sidle up by Nico, pressing my mouth to his ear. "Are we getting into a fight?" I whisper.

He smirks at me. "Oh yeah we are. They totally wrecked our party. You think you can handle it?" His eyes sparkle at me with his usual humor.

"You're asking if I can handle it?" I cock an eyebrow at him. "Can you?" I smirk.

"Let's find out." He smirks back and all the birds and monkeys break out in fights.

"WOOHOO!" I fling myself everywhere at once, just living the moment.

*Time Lapse*

The fight ended with Rafael, Nico, Pedro, Blu, Jewel, and I on a trolley to Luiz's and Rafael indicating to Blu that he should make his move on Jewel.

"Yeah that's your boy alright." Nico and Pedro snort at Rafael as Blu make things rather awkward between himself and Jewel.

I roll my eyes.

"Ok so he needs a little help why don't you set the mood." Rafael suggests and Pedro does something that makes me snort so much I fall against Nico, my laughs silent but there all the same.

Nico wraps a wing around me and nudges me, giving me the 'don't or I might start laughing too' look that I didn't know was possible.

"Woah woah Pedro, too agressive. Not hatin' on your creativity but I think I got this one." Nico says and takes his bottle cap hat off and starts whistling sweetly.

I lean back and watch this one play out as Pedro starts to 'play' a 'guitar' though I gotta admit this is so the right mood now.

But as usual someone screws up.

Rafael went flying in and out of the trees to make blossom petals fall and it was a really gorgeous sight until Blu started choking on one of them.

Nico lands beside me and makes motions with his wings and a crashing sound that I echo just cuz.

He smirks at me and kisses me.

Gotta love us though.
