Vanessa's POV

"LET'S GO, baby?" Axel held my hand before I got out of the car.

There are so many people around us and obviously, they don't know who we are and who we're dealing with. Therefore, I'm wearing an all-black outfit and sunglasses while Axel's wearing an all black outfit as well. As much as possible, we do not want to draw attention but I think Axel's physical appearance is enough to gain attention especially to those girls walking around. They're even turning their heads just to look at our direction.

'Tss. If they want to look back at him then it would be my honor to twist their fucking heads.'

I smirked with that thought.

When I stood beside him and he pulled me closer to his body, I accidentally nudged his side wherein I felt no gun in there.

"You didn't bring a gun?" I asked him.

"No." He said. "But I've brought my daggers." Then he smirked and I grinned.

I didn't want to bring my gun but I got used to bringing it everywhere I go. I feel there's a part of me missing whenever I don't bring my gun with me.

We entered the café and as expected we gained attention.

I rolled my eyes. Thanks to my sunglasses, no one saw how I gave each and everyone a stink eye for staring lustfully at Axel.

'I will bomb this area once we get out here, bitches.'

"Something's wrong?" Axel asked me when I clenched my fist. "Is it too crowded?"

He really knows what I hate.

"Nah." I answered. "I just want to finish this meeting already." Dahilan ko "Where's the wedding coordinator by the way? Don't tell me she's late?"

"I called the agency a while ago, sabi nila nandito na daw." Napatango-tango ako.

All of a sudden, a woman who's wearing a floral dress raised her hand and waved in our direction.

'The fuck is she waving at?'

"Mr. Shin!" She called my fiancé, which made me raise my right brow.

"Here she is," Axel whispered.

We went towards the woman as she greeted us. "Good afternoon, Mr. Shin and Ms. Taylors." She greeted us.

I glanced at Axel and he just smiled at me.

He purposely introduced himself as Axel Shin and I as Vanessa Taylors for safety purposes.

"Good afternoon," Axel greeted.

I examined her from head to toe before removing my sunglasses. "Good afternoon." I greeted while raising a brow.

"Please have a seat, please."

Axel pulled out the chair for me as I nodded at him. As much as possible, we want to look like a simple couple who's preparing for their wedding. We're in public and it would be dangerous for us — for our mafia if we make unnecessary actions.

Axel removed his sunglasses that made our new wedding coordinator widen her eyes. Kumunot naman ang noo ko.

'Should I fucking call Jamie again to assassinate another slut?'

"A-Axel?"

Napatingin ako kay Axel — asking for explanation why this bitch looks so fucking shocked. "I'm sorry?" I was the one who answered her. "Do we have any problem here?"
