Chapter two
Mia Rose POV
"We should go out this Friday and invite Mia's-girlfriend-to-be." Ruby said.
I stared at her. Hold up my who now. "Who the hell is my girlfriend--." Here we go.
"Go out with us and you'll get to find out."she said winking.
I need new friends.
Rolling my eyes at my best friend. There goes my Friday.
The bell interrupted my thoughts.
We move to different classes. Ruby and I were going to gym which didn't require us to be present.
So instead we walked to the sports side of the school knowing we would have practice after school.
She was walking ahead of me talking to her mother on the phone.
She stood at the door of the change room. Allowing me to pass her and walk inside.
The smell was stale and the lockers have aged. Moving to the furthest locker. Boys tend to peek when we changing.
I don't mind it but I don't want to hear how banging my body is.
I took off my shirt leaving me in my sports bra and jeans.
I search for my tee in my sports bag only to find it missing.
"Well shit." I mumbled.
"What's up?" Ruby walked to come stand behind me.
"I seem to have forgotten my tee and I can't train in this."
Picking up the top I came to school in. Trying to show Ruby.
"Well I think-." Ruby placed her hands on my waist and moved closer to me.
"- that you look just fine in this." She concluded.
Her hands now grasping my boobs. I took a breath and turned which was a bad choice on my behalf because well she was just inches away from me.
She noticed my uneasiness and moved closer so that our lips were a finger's width away from touching. Someone help this child.
My breath hitched. "Are you drunk?" I breathe out.
"Well what if I was?" She moved her hands to the small of my back.
"I'd be conflicted." I answered causing her to smirked.
"Too bad." She said.
Moving away to her bag. "I'm very much sober and still straight." She said.
"My therapist advised I try out new thing and by the looks of it this is going to be a hard mission." She pouted gesturing to me.
"I don't think she meant it that way." I said looking at my friend worried.
"Well I wasn't listening" she said faking innocence.
"Your something else." I turned back to my bag puffing at air.
Sports bra it is.
The last bell rang which meant practice. Ruby and I walked to the field to warm up.
I'm not a sports person at all. I just to it because I arrive home later and I don't have an excuse for being in my room.
From what I gathered we were just doing lunges and suicides and we'd be headed home. Thankfully.
