It is official. I am single. Even though it was only 8 months with Niall, it felt like we had been together for years. I can't wallow in my depression. I can't let myself do that. Harry, Carly, Louis, Jaimee, Zayn, Chelsey and Liam are coming over. I can't wait to get my mind off of things. I prepare the house with decorations and lots of food. "Niall loves food..." I mutter. STOP IT. I think to myself. Everything is reminding me of Niall. I turn on the TV and once again, music videos are playing. It's my jam though. "SORRY FOR PARTY ROCKING!" I sing/yell as I begin to dance around turning up the volume. Roxy looks over at me like I am insane. I smile at her and continue my pitiful solo dance party.
Everyone begins to arrive. Lou and Jaimee got here first. Jaimee is wearing stripes and Toms... 'WOW' is all I can think to myself. Harry and Carly get here after and they're as cute as ever. Following behind them is Josh. I can't believe Harry brought Josh. Well, I mean, I can believe it, but still. I am not disappointed to see him though. Liam comes over and he brought some girl named Rachel with him. She's really pretty, too. They're totally cute together. Zayn walks in with Chelsey and he's got his arm around her. No couple can be cuter than that.
I'm in the kitchen serving some snacks when Josh comes up to me. "Hey." he says. "Hey..." I reply. "Nice party." He tells me. I can't get passed how awkward I feel right now. I start to blush when he says "You look really nice" and smiles at me. He is so cute. I put in a movie and everyone begins to settle in. Josh sits next to me and I kindof expected him to. I can barely look over at Louis and Jaimee though, all I see is 'Where's Waldo?' with all this striping going on. Zayn and Chelsey are snuggled up and giggling at something he whispered to her. Rachel and Liam are curled up under a blanket. Then there's Harry and Carly trying to start a one on one pillow fight. "Guys! The movie is starting!" Liam yells at the two. "This is like, my favorite movie guys so hush." Louis says. "Lou, do you even know what movie we are watching?" Jaimee asks him. Louis looks over at Zayn and he lips the movie title to him. "THE NOTEBOOK!" Louis yells in a confident voice. Everyone laughs at Louis and the movie begins. Josh slowly tries to put his arms around me. I look over at him and he smiles. We settle in and halfway through the movie I fall asleep on his shoulder. When the movie is over, I awake to the sound of everyone getting up to leave. I get up quickly and help everyone out. "Thanks for coming, see you guys later." Everyone walks out and Josh is the last to leave. "I'll see tomorrow?" Josh asks me. "What?" I reply. I have no idea what he is talking about. "Great, see you then." He winks at me and walks out the door. I am shocked yet really flattered. "Ok!" I say back to him. I couldn't think of anything else to say to him. I am excited though. Is that bad?
