Nancy turned and flipped in her bed, then Grace walked over to her and screamed "wake up Nancy!"
"Huh! Oh, I'm awake." Nancy said while waking up quickly.
"Let's go Nancy, today is the big kids graduation!"
Nancy had a look of confusion on her face, aren't graduations only for school? This was certainly not school.
"What is this 'graduation' for?" Nancy asked.
"Well, it's a day when the people who want to adopt older kids come and adopt then. The same thing happens with the babies and us."
Nancy nodded her head to signal Grace to keep going.
"Tomorrow is the graduation for the babies, then the next day us."
"Wait one minute, I thought the boss said that we would have 3 years of training."
"Oh well yeah sorta, some people want to adopt the kids a little earlier so the have graduations every once and a while."
Nancy didn't know what to say. Right when she had the words, the announcement came on.
"Will all 8-12 year olds come to the auditorium please."
Nancy knew that the last announcement was for the big kids; This was the last time that they would see this place because by the end of the day, they would be gone, Grace and Nancy would be moving into the big kids rooms
