A Night for Two

Part 1, The Walk.

It was a beautiful night at the Mushroom Kingdom, the fireflies were flying around the flower field of the Princess of the kingdom's Castle. Inside the castle walls, all the toads were wandering around and talking and doing their night duties. Mainwhile, Peach, the formal Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom was in her room, on her bed, thinking about so many stuffs.

"Sighs... Why being the Princess is so difficult...?"

-She said to herself.

"I mean... I love my Kingdom and all but... I could use some help... Nowdays things gets a little to harsh for me to handle..."

-She added. But another though came to her mind, love. She is completely in love with the man she knows is the best knight in shinning armor, pure-hearted, a gentleman, lovely person, and that man, is the only and trustful Mario. Another lonely sigh came from her mouth while she was on her bed lie'd down.

"Oh Mario... If only you could know how much I love you... I... I need you so much..."

-As she keeps thinking about him, her face became like a tomato, reddish and shy.

"Kyaaa!! Omigosh, I shouldn't be so shy about this! I-I wanna tell him... But! I-It's not easy... N-No! Come on Peach! Keep it together! You can do this! You're a grown woman! Tell him!"

-As emotions grew, her confidence as well. She was fully conviced to tell Mario her feelings for him. But then she got interrupted by one of the toads.

"Y-Your Majesty...? Are you okay?" asked Toad, one of her loyals and closest friends.

"I-I'm fine! Don't worry Toad! Hahahaha..."

-Said she as she blushed and covered her flustered face.

"That's good!"

-Said Toad while smiling.

"Anyways my Princess, I just came here to tell you that Mario came here to visit yo-"

-Toad got interrupted by a scream of joy from Peach.

"Woops... Sorry Toad! But is it true? Is Mario here!?"

-Asked her while being completely excited.

"Y-Yes your Majesty"

-As she got confirmed about Mario's arrival, she quickly got to the bathroom, changed her clothes and put some make-up too look cute for her hero.

Mainwhile, downstairs; Mario, the hero everyone love and respect were waiting for his princess to come and greets him.

"Why is she taking so long?"

-Asked the red-capped man. As time passed, Mario kept waiting for Princess Peach to come down.

"Maaan... Women are so complicated when it comes to dress up and such..."

-Said he while being tired of waiting.

"Hey Mario, over here!"
