Chapter 2:Tragic Day

"Kader"I half whispered

The orcs haven't seen us yet,but I had a feeling that a few more steps and they'd definitely notice.

"Kader!" I said a little more loudly.

He stepped forward to the orcs.

"YOU KILLED MY BROTHER!!!!!" He shouted at them. They all turned around.

"Palox,knock an arrow." I said.He looked up at me and knocked his arrow.

Kader threw a knife at one of them and hit it square in the ribs and it looked down and fell.

We knew the Orcs would retaliate so I nodded and we all drew our weapons.

Sure enough they charged.Brilis, our swordsman was engaged in a 1 one 1 sword dual with a Orc.

Then I realized it was an Orc army."AAAAAAH"I yelled and we charged into them.

Palox's arrows dropped at least 2 Orcs a minute.

Brilis overwhelmed the Orc and stabbed it. Quickly another one took its place and Brilis was out of energy.

I looked over and I screamed"BRILIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".The Orc was punching Brilis in the face over and over and then

killed him.

I ran over to the Orc and thrusted my scythe into his stomach and he fell backward.

Men and Orcs were dying."Palox!" I yelled. He looked over to me.I was glad to see he was okay.I saw Kader's body next to an Orcs body.He died fighting.

I noticed half of the remaining Orc army was running up to the castle.

Palox ran over to me."We're dying out here, Arphin.".There was an arrow that shot by my ear into Palox's arm and he fell over.

I looked back and there was a giant Orc with a long bow.He was also holding a club. We charged at each other but he went towards Palox and hit him in the head over and over.I took all my impulses and jumped on him.I dug my scythe into his back but he flipped me to the ground even though he was dying from blood loss so I hit him in the stomach with my scythe.

I was sure he was dying but before I could hit him again he got up, so did I, but he ran at me.This time right at me.

I swung my scythe blindly at him and hit him in the chest but with his club he gave me deadly blow.

Then everything went dark.
