Chapter 23

*8 1/2 months (16th of December)*

Nathan's POV

"Babe, can you help me downstairs please" holly asked me holding her hand out.
"Sure" I smiled. I pulled her up of the bed and steadied her on her feet. I helped her downstairs and sat her on the sofa next to siva. "You ok today hol" he asked. "Yea but it's shattered me walking downstairs I can't wait till this baby's out of me" she huffed. "Come on it's all worth it in the end" my mom said. Oh yea. My mum, phil and Jess are staying here till after Christmas.

Holly nodded and I sat down next to her handing her a cuppa. "Thanks" she smiled. "No problem" I said resting my hands on her bump. She was actually massive. I looked around the room and everyone was smiling except for max. Of course. " So nath, what do you want the baby to be" phil asked. "I would like a boy but I would love a little girl equally" I smiled. "And have you tho-" "ARRRRRRRRR" phil got cut of by Holly's scream.

"Hol, are you ok what happening" I panicked. I stood up and paced. "Nath, calm down. She's gone into labour" my mom said. "Help get her into the car and Jess go grab the baby bag" mum said calmly. i picked her up and took her out to the car. "I'll drive nath, you sit in the back with her" phil said. I nodded and holly lay across my lap panting.

We arrived at the hospital and I picked holly up and carried her into the hospital. Oh and her waters broke in the car. "Help, she's in labour" I shouted as 5 nurses ran up to me. One with a wheelchair. I put her in the seat and they wheeled her down the corridor as I followed her close behind.

"Are you family of our patient" the nurse asked. "I'm her fiancé and the baby's dad" I told her and she nodded and let me in. I walked over to the bed that holly was now lying in. She was screaming as I gripped her hand. "breath baby, breath" I said trying to calm her.

"Ok, Holly you are fully dilated. This means your baby's coming. I'm going to need to start pushing" the nurse said. Hols gripped my hand even tighter. "Nathan, it hurts I can't do it" she said.
"Yea you can now come on hol, one, two, three push"i said. As I did she pushed and screamed at the same time.

4 pushes later and the nurse finally said. "Come on one more push and it's out" holly got ready as I counted.
"ARRRRRRRRRRRRRR" she screamed as I heard cries coming from the bottom of the bed.
"Congratulations, you've got yourself a beautiful baby boy" the nurse said. My eyes lit up as she said baby boy. She wrapped him up in a towel and lay him in Holly's arms.

We were both in tears. "He has your nose and eyes nath" holly said. "And he has your dazzling smile" I said back. "Do you want to hold him" she asked and I nodded. She passed him over to me as I kissed his forehead. "Hi, I'm your daddy and your going to be the most spoilt, loved baby ever" I passed him back to holly and she said. "Little Alfie James Sykes" I nodded and kissed her head. "Shall I go get the others" I asked she nodded.

I walked out the door and into the waiting room where I couldn't stop smiling. "You can all come in now" I said. They nodded and followed me. I walked over to holly and picked Alfie up. "Everyone meet Alfie James Sykes" I said as they gathered round. I passed him over to mum who was already in tears. "He's beautiful" she smiled. "Well he is my child" I joked. Everyone laughed. After Alfie was passed to everyone except max who wasn't here he was lay back down on holly lap and went to sleep.

10 minutes later he woke up crying and I decided hol need some sleep so I took him of her and held him in my arms. I walked up to the window and rocked him back and forth. After 5 minutes my phone buzzed and when I checked it. It was a tweet from holly.

I smiled and took a picture of Alfie.

I sat in the chair with Alfie and Holly was watching me from the bed. The nurse walked in smiling and then looked at all the boys and girls asleep. Jess and Phil haven't seen Alfie yet because they've gone to mine and Holly's new house to make sure everything's ready. "Right, holly you and Alfie can go home today but make sure you get plenty of rest and get daddy here to look after Alfie for today" we both nodded and I went to wake all the others up.

One they were awake I told then we were going home and mum held Alfie while I helped holly get dressed. "You ready" I asked. "Yea have you got the baby bag" she said. I nodded and I grabbed her hand. Tom brought in Alfie's car seat so one we were in the waiting room I clipped him in and carried him out the hospital. Only to be greeted by tons of paps. The lads went out first and told then to make a pathway for us to get through. I put the cover over Alfie's car seat and walked out hand in hand with holly.

When we finally made it to the car I strapped Alfie's in and holly sat in the back with him and my mum sat infront.

I drive us back to mine and Holly's new house which she doesn't know about yet.
"Nathan, why have we stopped here" she asked confused.
Me and mum got out the car and I went to the back to get Alfie out. "What's wrong" I asked. "Why are we here" "well you know then 4 days I was in the studio" she nodded. "Well I wasn't me and the lads went to look for a house for me you and Alfie and we like this one" I smiled. All of a sudden holly dived over onto me. I took her out the car and stood her on her feet. "You like it then" she nodded. "And I love you even more" she smiled. "Love you too" I said and then I went back to getting Alfie out.

I walked into the house to see holly jumping around. "Hol you need to rest" I said."nathan this house is amazing" she screamed. "I'm glad you like it" then I hear another scream. "OMG let me see my nephew" Jess obviously. She came bounding down the stairs straight over to me. "Jess sit down first" I said she nodded and i put him into her arms. She started to rock him back and forth.

Hi guys. So it's a really horrible day today. 17th if May. Worst day for the twfanmily. Stay positive guys. They'll be back.
