The breeze soaring beneath my feet -
which have failed me,
But it's normal.
I can only see gray
On a beautiful monochromatic scale
Blacks and whites dance under my eyes -
which have failed me,
But it's normal.
I have never heard the wind
Or waves role up on the shore
Sounds dash away from my ears -
Which have failed me,
But it's normal.
I will never read a dictionary
Frustration clouds my mind
Ds become Bs
Ws become Ms
Words become soup, in my mind -
Which has failed me,
But it's normal.
I have never liked a boy
And I never will
Girls take hold my heart -
Which has failed me,
But it's normal.
I am normal
And different
And unique and special and complicated and complex and diverse and exceptional and extraordinary
And an outcast of society -
Which has failed me,
But
That's not ok.
