Scars Forever

Do you see those scars?

They will haunt you forever.

You look up at the shining stars,

Assuming you were to never,

Ever start such a foolish thing,

But now you can't stop,

Thinking your blood and scars fit like a ring,

Watching your veins go pop.

You may like the feeling now,

Determine that you deserve it.

But soon you'll be thinking "How?"

"How can i ever quit?"

Because those scars will be there for the rest of your life.

They'll remind you of those tough struggling days,

When on your skin is your knife,

But you didn't think you cared anyways.

It's too addicting to stop the cuts,

As those tears fill in your eyes,

Thinking life isn't worth living, but,

Life is a prize.

Once you get rid of it,

There's no taking it back.

So please do not quit,

Don't let your life fade to black.
