"Harry you what?!?!?!" My mom shrieked.
"I'm sorry."
"I'm not the one you should be apologising to. That poor girl. What's her number? I'm going to call her."
"No mum I can handle it."
"Harry we talked about this before you signed that bloody contract. You promised that they wouldn't control your life."
"I know mum. I'm going to fix this."
"You better. Don't make that poor girl do this alone."
"I'm not."
"Call her right now." She demanded.
"I tried before I got here. She's not answering my calls."
"Well try again tomorrow to give her some time but you can't let this go."
"I know. I know." I sighed. "I have to go. I'm staying at Niall's to help him unpack."
I kissed my mum goodbye and before I left she reminded me about a hundred more times to make things right with Ava.
On my way over to Niall's I tried to think about what I was going to say if she even answered.
First of all I have to apologise. This was all my fault. If I hadn't suggested that we go out we wouldn't be in this situation. Ava's life could possibly be ruined too. I didn't know her that. I don't know what her life is like or how her parents reacted. I was so deep in thought about how my actions affected everyone I was startled when my phone rang. I looked the caller id and it was Ava.
"Ava." I said nervously, it was all I could say though.
"No it's Ryder."
"Who?"
"Her sister, now listen."
"I think I should be talking to Ava right now."
"She's still sleeping. it's still early here. I'm trying to help you." She started.
"Okay."
"Look Ava can't do this alone but she doesn't want anything to do with you either."
"I've noticed and I never wanted it to happen like this."
"None of us did but we can't change anything so I have a plan."
"Okay I'm listening."
"Okay financially she won't be able to do this alone. She has a job but a baby is really expensive. You can set up an American account and we can go from there. Ill make sure she knows where the money comes from and I won't let her refuse it."
"The money thing I can do but seeing the baby would be kind of hard."
"We'll worry about that when the time comes." She assured me. "Harry I don't want that life for my sister. Now I don't know you but the way you've been calling her phone back to back shows me that you care."
"I do."
"So promise me no matter how hard she tries to push you away keep coming back. She is famous for this. She pushes people away when in reality she needs them. Try to promise me that you'll keep trying."
"Ill try." I said. I didnt want to make any promises that I didn't know if I could keep.
I never meant for any of this to happen but like Ryder said we can't change anything. The only thing I can do is take this one at a time and to keep trying to fix things with Ava so I don't even know if going behind her back like this would be a good idea.
