I heard voices.... not just any voices, familiar voices. I could hear a beeping noice, as the one you hear in hospitals. I was too tired to process where I was, a matter of fact, I hadn't even opened my eyes yet. I was exhausted out of my mind, I was so tired I couldn't even process where I was, or even what was happening. Before I knew it I was fast sleep again.
Later I wake up again. but... it's silent this time. No beeping, no voices, nothing. I slowly open my eyes, and...all I see is black, nothing, just black.
I realize I'm in a room, I can barely make out the shapes. I notice that I am in a lot less pain that before, I see that there's tubes attached to me, I'm wearing something that feels like some kind of robe. I feel a wave of panic, as I realize I have no idea where I am, but then, after letting it soak in, I realize that I am in a hospital bed. I take breath, in relief and lie back down, I feel safe and protected. I was being taken care of. I let myself fall back to sleep. Thinking everything is fine.I slowly open my eyes and I see that the light in my room is on. I get up slowly, and sit on my bed, I take a look at my surroundings . I notice I'm in a small room with white walls and white floors. I look to my left and I see a heart monitor. Beside that are some machines, one is tall, one is short, and one is long and skinny. I look to my right and I quickly realize that there's no windows. My smile slowly disappears, and I put on a face of confusion. Why is there no windows? Most people wouldn't be surprised that there wasn't any windows, but since I noticed there was a medal door with a pad lock on it, it made it seem suspicious.
I decided to get out of my bed to try to open the door, or to find some way of getting out. I get out of bed and I am pleasantly surprised, I can stand up. I shakily walk to the door and start banging on it with my two fists.
While I am banging on the door, I think I hear a voice so I stop, once I stop I hear someone say "Would you mind not banging on the door, sir". I hear the door opening, so I quickly back up. The opens to revel a man, he has dark brown hair, bright blue eyes, and wearing a black suit. Then I suddenly feel embarrassed, because I am wearing one of those hospital robes, and Mr. Fancy Pants, wearing a suit.
The man clears his throat and says "Welcome to your home". I step backwards in shock. What the fuck am I doing here, I think to myself. He notices my shock and says "don't be shocked, this isn't a permanent home. Unless you want it to be" he whispers. "This is just where you will be staying until you heal". I felt very uneasy about this". The man noticed that I wasn't convinced so he said "I use to work at Hawkins lab. I studied their bites and I know how to fix them. Before you go all crazy on me, I am no longer apart of Hawkins lab. I will never go back, even if I could." At first I wasn't buying it but I am intrigued, so I let him continue. "Since normal hospitals can't heal demodogs bites, we have to heal the bites for them. I am Doctor Kengslang. I will be your doctor to help you repair yourself, so you can go back to your normal life." Say's Doctor Kengslang.
I decided to agree, but I was still a little suspicious and didn't want to take my guard down, just in case.
