Aubrey's P.O.V

"So you're really not gonna even tell me where you've been going after school these past two days Bre?" Heidi asked as we pulled up to the UFC gym. I remained quiet before she put her car in park. "Wow..." she breathed. But I really could not and did not want want even her to know where I've been going everyday after school.

Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, I'm scheduled for my private self-defense classes right after school with Ethan and after skipping both Tuesday and Wednesday, he made a call to my mum, asking if I was still taking the classes. But seeing as I had been lying and going elsewhere, now I have to basically be babysat until I tell them exactly what it is I've been doing... which will never happen.

"Bre, I thought you were gonna stop shutting me out." Heidi said. I sighed, looking to my annoyingly caring stepsister.

"Heidi, I've just been walking around and sticking to myself. Okay?" She sat back in her seat, staring at me and clearly not believing a single word I was saying. "Look, I don't get much privacy in the house anymore nor do I get it at school seeing as your boys aren't living up to their word with you." She sighed.

"They're still bothering you?" I nodded my head, Heidi rolling her eyes. I told her about Liam and Harry being in my weightlifting class and while Liam keeps his distance, Harry is so damn persistent. I truly hate that period and the blonde Irish one is just as bad with his wolf whistles in the hallways. "I'll talk to Liam. I'm sure we'll see him in the gym. Okay?"

"Thanks." She nodded her head and as I was about to open the car door she grabbed my wrist, stopping me.

"Before we go inside, there is something I'd like to propose to you."

"What?" I asked; my brows furrowed. A devious smile came upon her face before she reached to the back seat of the car and grabbed her purse. I sat there, waiting, as she dug around in the large bag but soon, she was pulling out a folded piece of paper and handing it to me. "What's this?" She smiled, nodding her head towards the paper.

"Jut open it and find out." She chuckled and I slightly did as well while I did as she said. And when I had the piece of paper unfolded, a sigh escaped my lips as I read the familiar flyer that was posted all over our school. "Oh come on! You should try out for the team Bre! You know you'd make it! Weren't you like the top dancer at your school back in London?" My hand fell to my lap, me looking at my sister in complete annoyance.

"That was the past Heidi." I paused, honestly thinking about how much of my time used to be dedicated to the sport as well as how great I was at it. "I haven't danced competitively in like and entire year anyways..." she scoffed, bringing me back from my trance.

"Babe, you were a natural! I remember going to your competition just two years ago and you stole the entire show!" I sighed, slouching back in the chair. "Look, clearly you won't take my help and let me look after your in school, so at least do it for yourself."

"How the hell would this help me?" Heidi chuckled.

"You've been going to Rivington for nearly a week and you haven't figured out jocks rule the school yet?" I rolled my eyes, nodding my head. I have honestly never seen such a social chain in my life. Not even back in London. I mean Montague has a social ladder I guess, but it was not remotely this intense. "Exactly. And for females, being on the dance team is the biggest popularity booster ever! Our dance team is ranked and just bloody hot!" I scoffed.

"Why do you think I want to be popular Heidi? I don't care if these low lives in your school like me!" She sighed.

"Well I do Aubrey. I know how mean it can get and I've seen some of the strongest girls get ripped to pieces by the people in my school." I said nothing and just slouched back in my seat; now looking away from Heidi and out the windshield. "I just want you to be okay. Getting bullied isn't something you need to be dealing with on top of what you're already going through. And seeing as you won't take the protection of my boys, this is really the only way I can make sure you're okay. Especially after I graduate." I finally looked back to her after thinking for a few quick seconds, and she was basically pleading for me to do this with her large blue eyes.
