They stopped in front of me, the one who stutters in front of me. "My n-name is Bill," He said, looking me deep in the eyes. "That is Ben, Richie, Eddie, Mike and Stan. We're the losers club," He said, as the rest of the group came up behind him. "The losers club?" I asked. The losers club. Beverly came and stood beside me. "Aren't you the one who lost his brother?" I mumbled, suddenly remembering the news, and the sudden disappearing of the little boy. "Yeah, his n-name is G-georgie," Bill said, and I nodded.
"Do you know what happened to him?" I asked, and Bill looked at me. "He was o-outside, playing w-with a b-bout that I-I made," Bill explained and I nodded. "I have to go home now," I said, but Beverly grabbed my hand. "Now?" She asked, and it seemed like she wanted to stay. "Sorry, but I have a brother that I need to keep safe from a fucking clown," I informed her, and it seemed like the other boys looked at me. "Clown? So you saw it too?" Eddie asked, and I nodded.
"He visited today, and held my little brother. I do not want that fucking clown near my brother again," I informed, as Eddie nodded. "Is it only virgins who see this fucking clown?! Why haven't I seen the clown," Richie complained. "Wait, so everybody except Richie have seen the clown?" I asked and they nodded. "What does that fuck want," I mumbled. Beverly shook her head. "I saw the clown the same time you did," She mumbled, before looking up at me. "I have to get back to my dad," She said, before walking home. She left me with the losers club, great.
"H-how old is y-your little b-brother?" Bill asked, as I sat behind him on his bike. We were going to Bens house, to look at some files. He had been studying the history of Derry and we were hoping that it could explain why kids were going missing. "2 years," I told him. I feel bad for him, since he lost his brother. I have not told them about my mother's relationship with this clown, but I do not think they need to know. Well, not now.
