We slowed danced, he took me home without disrespecting me, I had a drink with him, spent a night with him. No. I'm not falling for him. On repeat like my favorite song, it ran through my mind.

Gabby and I together with Troy went to the reception area after lunch and started to decorate, arrange the tables, place the floral decors, arrange the lightings etc. Together the crew David came in and went to me, but as a habit, I moved the other way. I stayed away for the probable awkward moment. But as hours pass, and as the sun set, were were left alone with two other carpenters. Gabby have to go to pick out a dress for the bridal shower and Troy have to drive her. Sam and Alex needed to flush out the prewedding stress. O yeah me and David-again.

"Why are you avoiding me?" He attacked me while I arrange the flowers.

"What? I'm not avoiding you. How could you even accuse me of avoiding you."

"Whenever I try to go near you--"

"We had one night of adventure suddenly I'm your bro? "

"Yeah-you're welcome. I hope you had a good rest."

"About last night, it was the alcohol. I wasn't thinking about whatever I did or said. I don't even remember anything. It was not me. I never do that. You challenged me, I hate it when I'm being underestimated."

"Its okay. I know. But you do owe me 500 bucks for making out with the braided old lady." I laughed.

"You did not-"

"Yeah I thought I could trick you into gving me 500-you're a Man expert alright." Then we both laughed. "Hey Tony-a little higher." He ordered the carpenter as they put the curtains. "Don't you have a Bridal shower to go to?"

"And don't you have a Bachelors' party to attend to either?"

"Calling in sick today."

"Yeah-right. Okay. Go ahead and lie to yourself."

"You threw up on me-three times-in the middle of the dance floor, while waiting for the gas crew, while driving, yeah-it'll take a few more nights to recover before I could eat another chicken pie and beer-any food for that matter."

"Okay-go ahead make fun of me." Then a truck parked outside-it was the light and sound system, they went in and set up. David talk to them and arranged the whole thing. I went to him when he was free from the technicians.

"Hey-is it okay if I go? Sam is already yelling at me at the other end."

"Yeah-sure. I'll just finish up them up here and go to Alex 's Bachelor's party."

"I thought you were calling in sick?"

"Are you kidding? It's my brother's last night as a free man. And men look forward to this event."

"Okay I'll go ahead. If something comes up. Feel free to call." I ignored what he just said and walked away.

I went back to my things at the other end of the room. Stacy called on me on the last minute fo some re-runs of updates. I glanced back at David as he was not looking. Stop it Chloe-you had one night of fun. Breathe in, breathe out. I glanced once more and saw through his shirt as his muscle flexed. Shrug it off. I shook my head, hands and the rest of my body parts did. After my crazy ritual I went back to earth and walked out, I studied the room and David was gone. I stopped by the entrance and looked for him but he was no where to be found so I took off.

Wear something sexy and fun. I went through the clothes I brought and tried my best to wear something appealing for a girls night out. I got my emerald sequined bandage skirt, a sheer black top, together with my nude colored pumps topping it all off with gold necklaces and bangles. I went to the spot and aas the doors opened, the loud song bursed out of the building. It was dark, and neon lights flown everywhere. I went to the tables and saw Gabby.
