Even the recently crowned champion of Alola can't predict the future or stop evil alone. As (Y/N)'s world starts to crumble around her, even the simplest of things aren't simple anymore.

Air rushed past Gladion and Plumeria as they flew over the ocean to Melemele. As they where flying over the battlefield, they saw everything was in chaos. Trainers had formed groups and each was fighting an ultra beast, it wasn't doing them much good. Though the trainers greatly outnumbered the Untra beasts, so much so that Guzma had to bring out his own Pokemon to fight (Y/N) head on. There where people everywhere, shouts and yells sounded, barley audible over the attacks. It was hard to tell where Pokemon attacks where aimed, Sometimes it got so confusing that the Pokemon accidentally attacked their own trainers! And Gladion couldn't exactly tell but something he couldn't quite see was dashing around the battlefield. The Tapu Pokemon hovered above the battlefield, attacking the ultra beasts, the Nurse Joys where running around trying to heal as many Pokemon as possible.
Gladion and Plumeria landed. Plumeria rushed right into the battle, Gladion stayed behind for a minuet. Necrozma's master ball shook before the Pokemon came out of its Pokeball. Gladion gazed up at the large Pokemon, which quickly turned its attention to Lunala. They stared for a while, then something Gladion couldn't quite see what happened. He didn't know what, but when he could see again, before him was what seemed to be a fusion of the two Pokemon. He didn't quite know what to think. Then the Pokemon rushed into the battle and began to attack, not the ultra beasts, not the Pokemon, but Guzma himself. It knocked Guzma off his concentration, making his Pokemon in the battle with (Y/N) more likely to faint.
The little Pokemon looked out of his hiding spot. Luckily in the chaos no one had seen him dashing around. He needed to catch his breath but he would be battling again soon. His little body made it quite easy to move in such a way so he couldn't be clearly seen, it was also easy to dodge any attacks directed at him. He glanced up at the Tapus. They where trying their hardest to him the ultra beasts but the giant creatures kept moving so they didn't always hit. "Mar......" He sighed. Then the little Pokemon rushed back into the battle.
(Y/N) stared at the giant Pokemon attacking Guzma, the thing was huge! It looked like Lunala but (Y/N) knew it couldn't have been. She had been lost in so much in thought that she didn't notice a missed attack heading right for her. She felt a pain in her ankle. She fell to the ground. 'Pin missile....it had to be pin missile.' She thought. She looked up her her Mimikyu on the ground, fainted. She returned it then brought out her next pokemon. (You can make it any pokemon you want, just keep in mind this one is going to faint too) (Y/N) tried to stand up, but she couldn't. The pain in her leg was awful. She felt herself being picked up, she didn't see by who but she was thrown into the Lunala/ Necrozma's attack. She fell to the ground and attempted to get up again. Seeing Guzma standing where she was a second before. Her vision was getting blurry. It was supposed to be a Pokemon battle but it felt like Guzma was trying to kill her. (Y/N) couldn't see clearly but something attacked Guzma, a small Pokemon she could tell, for a small Pokemon it had a lot of power, knocking Guzma to the ground, then running away. Guzma got up and shouted something and another attack hit her. Then he was knocked down by a Pokemon that (Y/N) recognized. She squinted to see Type:Null standing on Guzma. Gladion ran to (Y/N) and helped her up. With Guzma out it wouldn't be as bad but attacks where still flying everywhere. Gladion seemed enraged at the pain (Y/N) was in.
"Enough!" Gladion shouted. The ultra beasts stopped. "Your leader is down! So quit!" Gladion said pointing at Guzma. The attacks still hit the Ultra beasts, but they did nothing. Lunala/Necrozma turned to the Ultra beasts and stared at them. Then the ultra beasts seemed to scatter. Not out of fear, but out of their job seeming to be done. Everything on the battlefield was quiet now. No one new if it was over. Then the crowd erupted into cheers. (Y/N) looked at Gladion before it went black.
(Y/N) woke on her bed. She sat up and looked around a bit. Her eyes met her friends. Gladion, Lillie and Hau, all looking pretty beat up after the battle. Gladion sighed with relief. "Thank Arceus." He said under his breath. It took (Y/N) a bit to remember what happened. She looked at Gladion and he shrugged a bit. "You passed out. After that Type:Null evolved, Necrozma and Lunala are themselves again. Oh speaking of which." He said and stood up. He took out two master balls. He gave one to Lillie. And gave the other to (Y/N) "I think you would be a better trainer for Necrozma." He said. Just as he sat back down the door opened a little bit. Everyone looked up but saw nothing. Then they heard a sound and looked down. A small Pokemon was looking though the door.

Marshadow looked around the room until he spotted the brave human from the battle. A brave human that was willing to stand up to the ultra beasts even though the odds where against him. Marshadow made his way over to the boy. This brave human was the kind of trainer he wanted. He wade his was onto the boy's lan and into the boys bag. "What the?!" He heard the boy say. Marshadow found an empty Pokeball and brought it out of the bag with him. Holding it out to the boy.
Gladion was shocked. A Pokemon just walked into the room, grabbed one of Gladion's Pokeballs and was making a gesture that was the equivalent of asking Gladion to catch it. A Rotomdex flew over and scanned the Pokemon.

Gloomdweller pokemon
It sinks into the shadows of others and mimics their powers and movements. As it improves, it becomes stronger than those it's intimidating.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gladion looked at the little Pokemon. "Marshadow? Isn't that a mythical Pokemon? That never shows up to humans?" The others just shrugged. Gladion turned his attention back to the little Pokemon. "Do you want me to catch you?" He asked. Marshadow nodded. Gladion took the Pokeball and tapped Marshadow's head with it. Catching him.
Everything was silent. Gladion's attention was taken by (Y/N). She smiled at him. Her smile was beautiful. He had accepted that he had a crush on her a while ago. But he didn't want to admit it. Now he didn't care. He walked over to her and kissed her on the cheek. (Y/N) blushed and there was clapping heard behind them. Lillie and Hau where clapping. Marshadow also left his Pokeball and began clapping, even though he probably didn't know what the big deal was. "G-Gladion?" (Y/N) asked. "I-um........I don't know how to say it but....." Gladion blushed himself, he didn't let her finish, he wanted to get it over with. "I love you." He said. (Y/N) blushed harder and tackled him in a hug. "Good, because I feel the same way." She said, seeming to loose her nervousness. The clapping continued, and Lusamine and (Y/N)'s mom who where listening from the main room, did a high five. Their relationship would grow as strong as the strongest Pokemon. And everyone was exited to see that happen!
A/N: sup! The story is now complete. I want to say thank you to all those who stuck around while the story was being updated. This was the first story I began weighting and now it's complete!
