Unexpected

~(Y/N)'s PoV~

"Where are we going?" I laugh as Jordan pulls me by lily wrist along the sidewalk. It's been a couple weeks, me and Jordan have gotten to be stinger friends. He's really nice and even likes (f/a)(or (f/s)! Daniel doesn't seem to like him though, which isn't like him.
"You'll see!" He replies picking up the pace. I huff but then giggle as he trips up in his excitement.
A few minutes later we arrive at the park. He leads me to the woods and we follow a path that I haven't been on before. We get to a part of the lake and he finally stops turning around with a huge smile.
        "So...I know we have known each other for long.." he says slipping his bag off his shoulder.
        "But..." he fumbles with his backpack nearly dropping it.
         "What are you looking for?" I laugh generally confused he takes out a cardboard box painted (f/c) and opens it. Inside it says 'Will you go to the I.B. With me?' (I.B. Meaning the Juniors 'mini prom' because there not old enough for prom in my book) and there were two bellow the array, one saying 'yes' and the other saying 'no' written in small letters.
        "Oh! And it's Nutella! Not chocolate!" He says probably seeing my hesitant look. (Sorry if you don't like/can't have Nutella >~<.) I smile and pick up the yes placing it in my mouth happily. He lets out a sigh and pumps his first into the air smiling at me again.

----------------------Time skip----------------------
                      (Next day after school)

        "Avast! Jump ye plank ya scalawag!" I say pointing a wooden sword at Daniel.
        "Alrighty..." he turns toward the plank of wood leading to a drop onto a trampoline.
        "Madame cults!" He says immediately after jumping down. I gasp and smile running towards the plank.
        "CANNON BALL!" I yell before landing in a ball onto the trampoline next to Daniel. But not for long as I'm launched back up and I shoot my feet down and stand up pointing my sword at Daniel once again.
        "An guard!" I yell. He holds his own sword up and we begin chasing each other around the yard laughing and making pirate lines.
        After a while we end up getting tired and we sit down to eat (favorite/sandwiches) watching the sun go down.
        "I miss being a kid" I sigh taking another bite of my (f/s).
        "Yeah" he sighs in agreement.
        "Hey... I-I have to ask you something.." he says out of the blue.
        "Shoot!" I say taking the last bit of my sandwich and shoving it in my mouth.
        "W-will you..." he starts his face burning a bright red.
        "WillYouGoTo t-the Ice B-ball with me?" He stutters covering his face with his pirate bandana.
        "I-i-i...." was all I could say.
        "I'm sorry!" He says in a high pitched squeak turning his head.
        "N-no! Daniel! I would... b-but Jordan aske-" I didn't even need to finish. Daniel had gotten up and nodded.
        "It's alright" he says and begins walking away in a hurry.
        "Daniel wait! You can come with us! I'm sure Jordan wouldn't mind!" I shout following him to the hole in my fence.
        "It's alright.." he repeats his voice cracking as if he's on the verge of crying.
        "I-I want you to have fun. I don't mind, r-really." He says and with that he jumps over the fence.
       "Daniel...!" I say my ears pinning down.
        "Just go (Y/N). But if he hurts you, it won't be fun for him."

I'm so sorry this is short and it took this long! 7th to 8th is only one grade but it's my last year in middle school and it's quite tough. I also have a Orchestra concert tonight but I was determined to get it out to you guys so here it is! I really hope you enjoyed and I promise the next chapter will be much more eventful, since it's gonna be the Ice Ball. Now enough of my rambling and as always....
