New years

~Y/N's PoV~

I knock against the hardwood door using my foot and back away waiting patiently. I wobble balancing two large boxes filled with decorations. A bag still lay at the beginning of the driveway due to my non availability of hands.
The door opens and I peek around the pile of boxes stacked on my arms and smile.
"Oh my Irene Y/N! Hi!" Aph says quickly waving her mom over to help then taking the top box. I thank her and quickly run to get the bag that was filled with my girls for everyone and my secret pal, who just so happened to be Daniel.. coincidence... I think not! (I hope you get the reference XD)

Once inside we start unpacking each of the boxes.
"A laser light machine!? Where in Irene did you get this! There nearly gone everywhere!" Aph says lifting it out of the box and observing the multi colored lamp.
"I browed it from me and Daniel's tree house. I remember is begging our parents for it one day at the mall." I reply laughing at the memory and pull out a string with metallic '2018's having all over it. She laughs as well and goes to the side of the room to plug it in. Let the decorating begin!

        I admire our work from the dining room and smile.
        "We. Did. Amazing!" Aph says holding her hand up to high five me. I high five her and agree, it was pretty awesome.
        There was my laser light machine shining many colors around the room, garland with '2018' all over them and streamers hanging down from the ceiling, party poppers and noise makers were scattered around. The TV had Easter basket filling tied to a string rapped around it and on the mantle were giant plastic letters spell '2018' yet again.
        In the kitchen there was punch, chips and dip, and brownies we had made. There was also empty spots for everyone else's goodies they are bringing.
        And finally for a hint of Christmas, we added a touch of mistletoe hanging from the archway between the kitchen and living room. All we need is two people to stop right under it.
Aphmau collapsed onto the couch while I was admiring the decorations and I sigh walking to her.
"Aphhhhh we can't be tired already! We have to stay up till 12!" I say poking her.
"We still have an hourrrrr" she groans rolling herself closer to the back of the couch.
"We still have to get readyyyy" I groan back copying her tone.
        "Fineeee" she laughs and gets up. I quickly gab her arm drag her upstairs laughing.

        I look into the mirror and smile. I was wearing a glittering silver dress that had (S/L)(sleeve length) sleeves and ended at my (knees/ankles.) my shoes were simple black flats with bows on the toes. I had silver earrings shaped like stars with mini jewels imbedded into the center making them sparkle in the light. My eyes had (dark/faint) silver eye shadow and cat eye eyeliner. There was invisible lipgloss with sparkles decorating my lips making me even more sparkly. Finally there was my hair, it was pulled to the side with another strand of hair wrapped around the elastic with, you guessed it, more glitter!
        I adjust my position to see the back of myself making sure everything was in its rightful place when Aph walked in. I look at her and gawk, she looked AMAZING!
        "Aph you look amazing!!" I say excitedly.
        "I could say the same about you!" She replays with the same amount of enthusiasm. "I mean, we gotta look our best for the last day of 2017!" She continues.
        "Yep! The best year of my life" I say hugging her. It's just then we hear the doorbell ring and we rush downstairs to answer it.

        After nearly everyone was here - we were waiting for Daniel and KC - it was already bustling with noise and cheerful activity. Garroth, Dante, and Laurence were holding punch chatting. Me and Aph were setting up some activities we planned. Another knock on the door was heard as we put the microphone on the stand for karaoke. I hurried over and opened it to KC and Daniel with handfuls of baked goods. I took a few from KC and lead them to the kitchen... but didn't do very good job as Daniel bumped into the wall since he couldn't see... whoops. After KC put her goods down Daniel began while I waited to greet him. As he turned around his eyes lit up as they found me.

~Daniel's PoV~

        I finally put down the goodies KC baked and turned around only to see a glittering werewolf in silver. My eyes lit up as I saw (Y/N) smiling behind me, her eyes sparking along with the glitters across her outfit.. she looked beautiful..
        She engulfed me in a tight hug squeezing the living day lights out of me.
        "Happy new year!!" She cheers letting me go. " I can't believe it's been another year!" She continues.
        "Y-you look beautiful"  is all I manage to say to her. She laughs and straightens her hair even though it was already straight.
        "You don't look so bad yourself" she says tightening my lose tie then grabbing it and dragging me to the party.

~(Y/N)'s PoV~

        I engulf Daniel in a hug and squeeze him tight.
        "Happy new year!! I can't believe it's been another year!" I cheer releasing him from my death hug.
"Y-you look beautiful" he says randomly, making me blush but it is luckily hidden by the make up I had on.
"You don't look so bad yourself" I reply back trying to keep it smooth. It's then I actually look at him. He had formal place pants on with formal black shoes. His light blue button up shirt was tucked into his pants and his black and dark blue die loose around it's collar. I shake my head and tie it then tug him as Aph was nagging us to come play games. I can't wait for tonight.

Wow! Again late chapter I'm really sorry but recently I've gotten into a loop hole of sadness that just won't leave me alone. I don't want to nag it on to you guys but it just seems I'm stuck and don't know what to do? If you know what I mean. LUCKILY! I have this book to go to because I love to write this story and it just takes me from my strange looping reality. Anyway as always...
