Xander's Shadows

A/N: I started writing this poem before some of the recent chapters, which may explain my it becomes a little disjointed at times.

We all have power before we fall

For we must have something, 'til we lose it all

They say I lost it long ago

Although my mind is cloaked in shadow

A world without villains is not the best

But there's not a lot you can do

When the pills are all merlonium blue

And I'm plotting with a crazed Taylor and Celeste

This world is full of demons to face

Those shadows inside my mind

(At least I've got Ian by my side)

That we'll defeat to escape this place

We each have something for which we fight

So we do not succumb to this endless night

Now there's reality to escape and a city to save

For I refuse to fall to a nightmare grave
