Chapter 22

"You what?" Ally questions, unsure if she is correct in what she just heard

"I think I know who has them. It all fits, think about it." Dinah replies.

"You have to actually tell us who you think it is for us to think about it." Normani enters the conversation.

"The members of the Vamps." Dinah whispers.

"What? Why the hell would they take Lauren and Camila?" Normani questions.

"Why wouldn't they? We all knew Brad was overly obsessed with Lauren and then remember the interview where James said that 'they all had a go' at her and then we went on twitter and responded to them? They then lost a lot of their fame and respect."

"What made you think of them?" Ally asks.

"I remembered Lauren saying something weird. Not the idea, but she just phrased it really weird and in a way unlike her. And she said it twice. She told me she would think about me 'night and day'. That's the name of one of their albums, correct? And once I put that together, it all made sense. Brad is, of course the ring leader and Connor would probably be the one who doesn't like what they're doing. Brad is extremely narcissistic and so is James, obviously. Everything fits."

"Oh my gosh. It does make sense."

"We need to go the police station right now." Normani stands up and puts on her shoes and grabs her phone. "What are you guys doing? This shouldn't take this long. Let's go!"

"I can't find my shoes!" Dinah yells, "Who cares? Grab a pair and make them fit, we have to go right now."

"Fine, Ally, let's go. I'm using a pair of Mani's."

"I already called an uber, he'll be here in two minutes." Normani lowers her phone and runs down the stairs, "Y'all are so slow. Come on!"

"We're coming, Mani!"

The three girls hop in the uber and drive over to the police station. It's roughly 4:30 in the morning, so barely anybody is there, but that doesn't stop them from approaching one of the officers.

"Hi, I'm Allyson Brooke Hernandez and we think we know who took out friends, Lauren Jauregui and Camila Cabello. Please, call the detective and get him here, Lauren's been gone for fourteen months and Camila has been gone for a year. It's time for them to come back to us."

"I'm going to need to see some identification."

"The hell are you talking about?" Dinah snaps, "Just look up Fifth Harmony on your phone and look at those pictures. It's us."

"We came here in a rush and don't have any of that with us, I'm sorry." Ally takes a more respectful approach.

"Fine, I believe you. Detective Williams is on the case, I assume?"

"Yes, please contact him."

"Ok, ok, calm down, he's actually supposed to come in early today for another case and he'll be here in about an hour, but I'm sure I could get him here before then."

"Ok, please get him here as soon as possible."

"Will do. While you're waiting, you can sit down over here." He directs them over to some chairs and leaves to call detective Williams. Thirty Minutes later, he arrives.

"I hear you think you know who has your friend?" the detective approaches the girls.

"Yes. The members of the Vamps."

"And what makes you think that?"

"Ummm-" Dinah knows she isn't supposed to mention when she was taken, Normani intercedes.
