i fell in love with the bad boy

Chapter 7

I had finally started opening my eyes and looked around at my surroundings. I heard someone gasp and I tried to lift my head up to see who it was but it hurt like hell. "S-S-Sasha?" That voice...it sounded so familiar. I forced my head up to see who it was and was shocked to see that it was Luke...Luke ran over to me, bent down and put his head on the bed in his hands as he started crying. "L-Luke?" I say a little bit shaky as I feel something salty find it's way into my mouth. I let a smile sprout onto my lips as more tears ran down my face. I can't believe he was actually here for me...I can't believe-wait, where's my mom, dad and brother? My eyes start to get big as I try to get up. Luke looks up and his eyes get big. I feel strong arms on my body trying to restrain me from leaving the hospital bed. "Sasha, you can't leave yet, you're in pretty bad conditions" I heard him choke at the last two words. I lay back down and listen as if he was gonna say more. "Look, your family...they're fine. Honestly, they woke up before you did which is weird because according to the doctors they shouldn't of even woken up and I know you don't wanna hear that but it's a miracle that-" I cut his sentence short as I made an attempt to hug him. He was taken back by this movement but he hugged back even tighter. "Thank you..." I️ let those two words slowly leave my mouth in a whisper. I️ could tell he was smiling and that had made me smile. I️ slowly let him go and let the back of my head hit the pillow that rested behind me. I️ close my eyes but I️ can still feel Luke's gaze crawling all over me. I️ open one eye and find out he was indeed still staring at me. "L-Luke? Are you okay?" I️ had said when I️ noticed the sadness painted all over his face. He turned his body in the opposite way and sighed as he sat on the edge of the hospital bed I️ was laying in. He let his head fall and turned it towards me. "I'm just glad you're okay..."  he chocked out, "look, i know we barely know each other but when i met you..." He paused and locked his eyes on mine, "it felt like i was staring at the most beautiful girl to ever enter this world. you play hard to get.." that made me laugh a little. "and i like that about you. you don't throw yourself on someone and let me tell you, you rarely see that around here or anywhere for matter of fact." when he finished, i wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tight and let the all the pain in my body go away. it was just me and him in the hospital bed, and honestly? it felt so right, here, with him. i pulled away as i put my thumb under his eye and wiped the tears gently away, making them disappear. "thank you, luke. you've really opened my eyes to a whole new world, and honestly i want to spend this new world with you." i said, now inches away from his face, but most importantly, his lips. he smiled at me and leaned in, as i felt his warm lips touch mine, i heard cheering and we both immediately pulled apart and i looked behind him and saw my best friend and his best friends cheering and whistling and clapping their hands. i rolled my eyes and smiled at my best friend as she wiped away her tears and smiled and mouthed, ' i love you, sasha" i smiled and said it back. 

well thats how the story ended, btw my parents are fine and were watching the whole thing in their wheelchairs. me and luke got married 3 years later and had a baby girl. life couldn't get better, so i thought.....
