i blinked my eyes a few times being very oblivious to what my teacher had to say and to how many detentions i'm getting. suddenly i realized i wasn't dreaming and my mouth grew more into a smile till i couldn't hold back anymore. i bolted past my teacher which made her spin. but before she could turn around to yell at me i was already down the hall in my dads arms, yes, you heard me. my dads arms. i haven't seen my dad since the divorce and the reason for that was because of my mom. she forbid me from ever getting in contact with him which brings me to a very interesting question. 'why is she here with him?' i jump down and smile then look at mom who's.....smiling while crying? i walk up to mom and just look her dead in the eye. it stayed like that for what seemed like forever then i grew some balls, shook it off and said "mom, what's going on and why are you crying tears of joy? i'm guessing those are." she smiled and nodded. "hunny, would you like the spend the summer with you're dad?" i looked at her in complete shock. did my mom seriously just ask me that?! i couldn't talk i was still in shock. she waved her hand in front of my face and i shook my head signaling i was out of shock. i looked at her then dad, her,dad,her,dad. when i finally stopped i burst out of my shock fully and jumped on my mom and just said, "thank you, thank you, thank you!!!" she laughed and so did dad, i got off of her and hugged my dad. "this is gonna be the best summer ever!" i whispered. "you bet it is, kiddo." i love you guys so much." i said as i wrapped my arms around my parents into a group hug. "we love you too baby."
