"So why did you move here?"

I asked Melanie,trying not to sound like I was excited to see her.

" Back where I was, it wasn't very good. Always gloomy."

I laughed

"So you decide to move to the most boring place on earth. Arizona."

"Ha ha very funny y/n,but I'm serious. Things sucked there."

"Well it doesn't get much better here"

We waited at the bus stop, mostly laughing. When we got into the bus I was about to put in my music but someone stopped Mel from sitting down.

"Yo shawty, come sit over here. Yous is a lil baddie if I do say so myself "

I hesitated and looked at Mel. She then looked at me
" Oh my gosh that guy is so hot should I go?"
I smiled
" Go ahead kiddo, I'm not gonna stop you"

Fuck I hate boys, oh how much I hate boys. I wanted to punch something, someone, I wanted to punch him. He was smiling at her with this disgusting sly smile.
10 minutes go by and Mel had met a group of girls who hung out with the little fuckboi. They seemed to pull her in with their group. Goodbye Melanie, nice knowing you.
I walked out of the bus alone, I wasn't surprised she forgot about me. It usually happens to me.

I went to classes and Mel was talking to other people. I couldn't help but look at her she was cute. Her laugh filled the room and made me smile. Knowing that she was okay made me okay. I ate lunch alone. Reading a book was nice. It was this story about this boy who was found in the rain and was helped by a girl. They ended up marrying. If only life was that easy. My thoughts were interrupted by someone spilling water on my book.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

I looked up and it was Haley

" Thanks to you, I have in school suspension for the whole week. Stupid bitch."

I smirked

"It's not my fault that therapy isn't working for your dumbass. Learn to control your temper"

She leaned in closer, I could smell the cigarettes on her breath

"You should really stop smiling. You see I'm not just gonna let you get away with this."

I rolled my eyes

" What, you gonna punch me again? Go ahead get yourself into even deeper shit"

" Oh no, I'm not going after you"

She started playing with her hair, twirling it around her finger

"I think it's sad that your little girlfriend left you. Don't you? All those new friends that suddenly took interest in her. She just left you, in the dust. Poof, gone."

" Whats your point Haley"

" My point is, you're really stupid if you haven't noticed all the kids talking to her."

" Yeah I have noticed, good for her she has friends. Boo hoo I'm crying. You act like this is the first time a friend has left me"
