Chapter 4-Lunch

🥀Yup it's been basically five months since I've posted. You probably don't even remember me. You were probably wondering....where was I? did you die? Let me just tell you in one word because the whole story would take way to long. It was SCHOOL!!! I will try my best to post every week from now on and I actually mean it. I know I know you guys want to read the story, I won't stop you go ahead.(^<^)//🥀

Rachel's POV
     I honestly didn't want to make any new friends this year but Kori was so nice to cover for me in class. I guess I kind of owed it to her, but this will only be a one time thing. After this one favor I will avoid making friends for the rest of the year.
     "Hey not friend Rachel," said Kori.
     "Hey," I replied in a monotone voice.
     I followed her to the table to find a dark haired guy sitting at the table with the two nerds I meet on the bus. Why is life so cruel. All I wanted to do was avoid as much human contact as possible. Now I'm sitting at a table with a with all of these people.
     "Kori you didn't say you were inviting others," I said in an annoyed tone.
     "Not friend Raven It's ok these are my friend Richard's friends so they are probably of the nice," said Kori.
     "Hey mama so we meet again," said Garfield.
     "So we meet again," I said in a monotone voice.
     "Of the Friends I think we should do the introductions don't you think," said Kori.
     "That's a great idea," replied Richard.
     "My name is Richard and I'm hot, athletic, and a natural born leader. I know I'm pretty intimidating."
     "Cocky much," I mumbled.
     "What was that Rachel," said Richard.
     "Oh nothing."
     "Ok now it's my turn," said Garfield.
     "My name is Garfield and I like tofu, telling jokes, and fine ladies with purple hair."
     "Haha very funny," I said in a monotone voice.
     When does he ever give up. I mean he is kind of cute. No I can't develop any relationships. I don't want to get to attached before I move again.
     "My turn guys," said Victor.
     "My name is Victor and I love technology and sports."
     "My turn now. Well hey friends my name is the Kori and I like making friends, being the positive and rainbows."
     "Not friend Raven I think it's your turn to introduce now is it not?," said Kori.
     "Yeah mama introduce yourself," said Garfield.
     I guess I didn't really have a choice.
     "My name is Raven. I like everything dealing with death, avoiding people, and I hate being at this table right now."
     "Way to bring the mood down," said Victor.
     Riiiiinngggg!! Riiinnngggg!!!
     It was the bell. This torturous time is finally over.
     "Friends would you do the meeting here tomorrow," said Kori.
"Yeah Kori," said Victor.
"Sure thing," replied Garfield.
"Yeah of corse Kori," said Richard.
"Raven I guess you'll be to the gathering tomorrow too right?"
    I doubt it.

Garfield's POV
Riiinnnggg!!!!! Riiinnnggg!!!
It was the end of the first day of school and I could finally make my move on Rachel. I honestly don't know how anyone could be that beautiful. She is just perfect in every way.
"Now where is she?"
"Where is who," replied Victor.
"Nothing"
"Please don't tell me you're looking for Rachel man. It's the first day of school you don't really know her," said Victor.
"So what if I was looking for her. Why does it matter to you?"
     "Because I've been in love before but they didn't have the same feelings for me. I just don't want you to get your feelings hurt."
      Maybe he did have a point. She probably would never like me. No I can't think like this. I have to at least try. If my heart gets broken then so be it. At least I tried.
     "Sorry dude but I have to at least try."
     "Ok but I warned you."
     After the long conversation with Victor I made my way on the bus. I saw Rachel sitting on the seat at the back of the bus. I have to make my move.
     I began walking to sit by her when Kori beat me to it. Damn it Kori.
I guess I'll have to make my move another time.

Kori's POV
When I got home all I thought about were all of the amazing people that I meet at school. I could see that we would be great friends soon. Everyone there is so nice and positive we'll Raven is a little down but she isn't a bully like those other girls. Anyway I like it so much in America. I'm free to be who ever I want here. I also love the environment. It's safer than where I'm from. Too bad I had to leave mom and dad behind. I really miss them.
"Kori order a pizza for me I'm hungry," said my sister.
"Sure thing dear sister. I will order the pizzas for you."
"Just one pizza. We aren't rich."
"Okay dear sister just one."
I went to my room to look for my phone. It was on my purple bed. I then dialed the number for the pizza place that my sister likes.
"Hey how can I helped you today at Fred's Pizza Joint," said a familiar voice.
Why do I feel likeI know him.
"Yes you can do the helpings of me today by preparing me a pepperoni of pizzas...no pizza."
"Kori is that you? I'm Richard from school."
"Oh hi dear friend Richard. I knew you're voice was of  the familiar."
"Yeah anyway er um what do you want to order? Oh wait you already told me that one I'm pepperoni pizza right?"
"Yes that's of the correct."
I wonder why his voice sounded so nervous after he realized it was me on the phone. I guess I'll never know.
