Chapter 3: The One Who Turned Him

Sam's Pov:
     I couldn't move... it's like I was in a trance but I must admit she was beautiful, but not as beautiful as someone else  I know. We both stared into each other's eyes for a few minutes before I asked her "Why?" She said nothing she just smiled creepily. She then told me that Colby needed to pay for what he did. I was so confused about what though, I've known him since I was 14 I'm sure he would've told me if something bad happened because we basically know everything about each other. He would wouldn't he?
      I then asked her how I can help him even though I'm not a vampire. She said that we'll just have to figure that part out on our own. Well shit.....
     She then left and I eventually fell asleep. To be honest I don't even know how I did.

Time Skip Next Morning
Sam's Pov:
I just woke up and decided to text Corey and Elton if they were up yet. I saw a text from Aaron in our group chat that said he will be going to Texas for a few months. Corey and Elton are both up but they said they haven't heard any movement from Colby's room yet and it's almost 12 pm.
Well I'll just get up and meet them downstairs. After I got dressed I opened my door and it was dead silent. I decided to go downstairs and into the living room. Elton and Corey looked at me with worry in their eyes.
Corey's Pov:
I saw Sam walking down the stairs and he cane over to Elton and I. He seemed confused at first on why Elton and I had worried looks on our faces. I decided to break the silence and ask him if he heard any movement from Colby's room he just shook his head no.
Sam's Pov:
It's almost 1pm now and still we heard nothing from Colby's room. I'm really worried about him. My best friend is a vampire now and I won't be able to have a serious talk with him ever again without him trying to attack me and the rest of the guys. That's when we heard a blood curdling scream coming from the direction of Colby's room. We all looked at each other and ran up the stairs to his room. We were silent at first waiting for his next move. We heard nothing so I decided to knock. "Hey Colby are you doing okay in there?" All I heard was a muffled "I don't know." It was hard to make out. I whispered to Elton if we should go in there and he said yes but be very cautious. That's when I unlocked his door and slowly opened it...
Colby's Pov:
I woke up with a sharp pain in my throat, it just felt like it was burning I could do nothing but scream. (In this story vampires can sleep!) Thats when I heard footsteps rapidly coming closer to my room. I knew it was Sam, Elton, and Corey by instinct, I don't know how I knew but I just did. That's when I heard Sam knocking and asking me if I was ok. I had a hard time responding because my throat was killing me all I could get out was a muffled "I don't know." That's when I heard them unlocking the door and slowly opening it. I sat up a bit. I felt weird, I couldn't breathe, I felt stronger. I was so thirsty but I couldn't understand why that's when the events of last night came rushing back to me. So wait a minute I'm a vampire?....... No I couldn't be vampires don't exist right?
That's when I saw Sam he looked so worried, Elton looked concerned and so did Corey. I kind of just stared at them. Sam's blood smelled so delic..... wait a minute no no no I am not drinking his blood ever, why am I even thinking about doing that???! Sam sat on the edge of my bed he asked me if I was hurting anywhere? All I could manage to say was "my..throat.....burns.... a lot." I pointed to my head and neck because that hurt a lot to just my throat hurt the most. They seemed to understand what I was saying because Elton left and said he'd be back in less than 30 minutes. Corey and Sam nodded while I sat on my bed feeling miserable. Corey sat in my chair and Sam was still sitting on the edge of my bed, it was dead silent for a while because no one knew what to say to make this situation any better.
Elton's Pov:
I told the guys that I would be back soon. After Colby told us how he was feeling that's when I knew I needed to take action so I left the house and drove to the store. Colby needed blood and since he won't be getting human blood anytime soon he'll be getting animal blood. I just hope he can keep it under control until I get back because I don't want to come home to having Sam and Corey passed out from being turned into vampires. I found a space in the parking lot and I decided to text Corey and tell him to call or text me if anything bad happens. Corey replied: "Yea, will do Elton. "Also dude you better hurry cause Colby's eyes keep turning red and he keeps looking at Sam like he's his next snack."
Elton: "Well that's not good ummmm for right now tell Sam to be very careful for being to close to Colby. Just try and keep your distance from him ok."
Corey: "Ok Elton."
Elton put his phone in his pocket after seeing the last text from Corey and decided to walk into the store. He practically ran to the Deli/Raw meat section, to only earn a few weird looks from people. He grabbed a basket and looked for anything that looked really bloody.
Elton's Pov:
I grabbed anything in my sight that looked really bloody and gross. I had about 10 packages of raw meat in my basket. I went up to the cashier and she gave me a weird look I just told her that my friends and I were doing a really stupid challenge and for all the meat that was wasted, I will be giving a lot of money to charity. She gave me the are you serious look but then it changed to a soft look of understanding.
I paid for everything and left the store, put everything in the backseat of my car and I sped back to the house. I was almost there when Corey started calling me. I know I'm not supposed to do this but I picked up my phone and answered it. "Hello, what happened, what's wrong?!!!" Corey yelled at me and told me to get there fast, and how Colby kept trying to attack them. "Elton his eyes are really red and his fangs are out, Sam and I are hiding in the bathroom." "We have the door locked but we have hold it shut tight because he's trying to get in here." "What do we do?!!!" "Corey just wait it out I'm almost home." I arrived back at the house only to hear dead silence.....well that's not a good sign. I grabbed all the raw meat only to have Corey text me that Colby passed out not to long ago and how Sam and him carried Colby downstairs and laid him down on the couch.
I opened the door and went inside. I saw Colby passed out and Sam and Corey giving me the "oh thank god your home look." They came rushing over to me and took out all the raw meat packages out of the bag. Corey opened up 2 of them and drained the blood from the meat into a glass for Colby to drink. Sam looked off, he hasn't said a word he just looked terrified. That's when Sam went back into the living room and sat on the floor next to Colby. Corey looked at me and told me everything that happened. We were whispering the whole time, trying not to catch Sam's attention. "Hey Elton...um Colby almost bit Sam. Well about 20 minutes after you left is when Colby started acting weird, not like himself. Sam asked him if he was okay and Colby looked at him, his eyes were so red, he looked like he was possessed or something. So Sam got up and told Colby that he'll be back real soon with a drink, and that's when he attacked him, Elton I thought Sam was going to die. If I was not in that room Sam would not be a vampire but he would be dead. I grabbed Colby with all my strength and threw him on the bed, I grabbed Sam and dragged him into he bathroom with me. I locked the door just in time. After a few minutes in there I called you, and when we were done talking is when Colby passed out and we took him downstairs and then you came home."
Elton's Pov:
I couldn't reply, I had no words, all I could give Corey was a shocked look on my face. Corey got Colby's glass of blood ready for him for when he wakes up and as if on cue Colby started to stir.
Colby's Pov:
I smelled blood and I immediately started to get up to find the source. I couldn't control myself from earlier. Trust me I really was trying but I couldn't it's like someone or something was controlling my body. All I could do was watch what I was doing but have no power to control it.
I never wanted to hurt Sam, or Corey. It just happened... I decided to open my eyes, I saw Sam sitting on the floor next to me with a scared look in his eyes and honestly I couldn't blame him. I'd be scared to if something like that happened to me, well technically it already did.... I saw Corey and Elton walking towards me and whatever was in Corey's hand smelled delicious.
Corey handed me a glass of blood. It smelled so good I couldn't help myself. I immediately felt my fangs pop out and my eyes glow bright red. I finished drinking the blood in less than 10 seconds. I felt much better and in control of myself. The guys didn't seem to be that scared anymore but that's when I felt my stomach turn. I threw up all the blood that I just drank. I felt horrible. Sam, Corey, and Elton came rushing towards me. Sam rubbed my back and I kept throwing up. My vision started to get blurry and I eventually blacked out....
