A Heart in New York

Kurt Hummel is nine-teen years old. Two years ago he graduated from William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio. He attended the school's glee club, 'New Directions'. He was bullied in school, because of his sexuality, but he pulled through and didn't let anyone stop him from dreaming. He is now starting his second year at NYADA, New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts, with his best friend Rachel Berry. His life has never been better.

Blaine Anderson is eighteen years old and just moved to New York so he could go to NYADA and become a star. He graduated from Dalton Academy, a private, boarding school in Westerville, Ohio, where he was the star of the glee club, 'The Warblers'. He is ready to see what the big city has in store for him.

Kurt starts his second year at NYADA, together with his best friend, Rachel, when Blaine arrives, a freshman with amazing talent, and turns his world upside down.

NOTE:

-These characters all belong to the creators of the tv show 'glee', only a few minor characters were invented by me.

-I had no idea what to name this AU until I discovered a song called 'A Heart in New York' and fell absolutely in love with it, especially the cover by Simon & Garfunkel, you can find it on the side

-This is an AU (Alternate Universe) and perfectly readable for anyone who hasn't seen glee.

-I know other people have used this idea too, for their own stories. This is my story, my way of telling it, I am not copying anyone else.

-If you have not seen glee, but there is something going on you don't understand, let me know so I can change it and avoid it in the future.

-For those of you who watched glee and are confused: Kurt and Blaine have both graduated high school, but Kurt at McKinley and Blaine at Dalton. Kurt never went to Dalton and never met Blaine, so he had to put up with a tough year at McKinley until Karofsky changed schools himself. The storyline sort of picks up around the same time as the start of season 5B
