The foster home before this never raised her right so the doctor said she is still developing and is much like a two year old right now. I read her file over and over. I looked up to see Kensie opening her eyes. She looked around not seeming shocked
Or startled by her new surroundings at all. But then again she was passed from home to home. She sat up and looked at me I introduced myself and she replied by calling me 'ari' but the R sounded like a W. I saw her dirty worn out dress and remembered we have to go shopping. I explained to her we were going to get her new clothing and toys and she smiled. She smiled like she wanted to trust me but felt this was all too routine for her.
