Miraculous One Shots

"What are you afraid of?" (Marichat)

That day Adrien's bad luck seemed to be at it worst. He slowly walked home as he had missed his car ride. His walking was almost like a limp. A limp for help crying out to the word that he was miserable. His head sagged and fell looking toward his feet. His shirt and pants we're wet from the rain that poured onto him in a wave of emotion. It reminded him of his sorrow as he walked. His sneakers squished from being soaked in the heavy downpour. His body was cold and he shivered in his soaked white jacket. He could feel Plagg shiver from inside his bag. In the moment he had forgotten about the small cat kwami. Opening his bag slightly he peered into his side bag. His heart sank as he watched Plagg's ears and tail shiver violently from the new cold air. 

" Plagg?" Adrien said his voice almost a whisper, but it was loud enough for you to hear the large amount of worry in his voice.

 'Plagg shouldn't have to be stuck like this because of me,' Adrien thought as the kwami's eyes opened to reveal his familiar bright green eyes. 

" H-hey k-kid," Plagg replied as he shivered. Plagg looked up at him and stared straight into Adrien's eyes. 

" Hey, d-don't blame y-yourself for our c-combined l-luck," Plagg stated with a slight smile across his small face. 

" What'da mean P-plagg?" Adrien question and as he spoke he realized just how cold the rain had made him. 

" I've been in this world for centuries kid. I can tell when you feel guilty. Don't think it's just your bad luck to make this happen. It's mine too," Plagg replied curling his tail in between his legs in an attempt to make himself warmer, which failed. Adrien smiled slightly. 

" Transform." Adrien gave Plagg a surprised look. 

" What?" Adrien asked perplexed. 

" Transform. We'll get some place warm faster if your Chat Noir," Plagg replied slowly flying up to his holder. 

" So, you don't care where I go?" Adrien asked a different thought in mind. Plagg sighed knowing what he was thinking of. 

" I don't care, as long as it's not raining or cold I'll be fine," Plagg shot back almost with a snarky voice. Adrien nodded and unlocked his transformation. He sighed as her felt the cold leather wrap around his body. Unfortunately the cold leather didn't help anymore than a shirt when it came to the cold fall night, however rain didn't weigh him down anymore so he quickly ascended across the rooftops. When he spotted the familiar building he was looking for he stopped on top of it and mentally thanked Plagg for helping him getting there. Standing still made him shiver and he did so as he waited for the presence of another. His ears perked up when he heard the familiar sound of a trapdoor opening and smiled brightly when Marinette's face could be seen. 

" Chat?" Marinette said confused as she held the trapdoor above her head. She was using it to shield herself from the rain. 

" Hi purrincess," Chat replied with a sheepish smile. Marinette's face shaped into worry. 

" Chat get inside your gonna catch a cold!" Marinette exclaimed pulling open the door before disappearing inside. Chat smiled at her and gladly hopped inside. He shut the trapdoor quickly and landed on the ground below. He was about to sigh with relief till a towel hit his face, blinding him. He could here Marinette chuckle as he pulled if off is head. 

" Dry yourself off real quick," Marinette said gesturing toward the towel before she left downstairs. Chat shook his head, amused and then proceeded to wipe his suit down. When Marinette came up stairs she had another towel with her along with a blanket and a plate of cookies in hand. She set the plate of cookies down on her desk and walked over to him with both blanket and towel in hand. He smiled as he wiped his arms. She threw the blanket to the side and unraveled the towel in her hands. He had expected her to give it to him, but another part of him knew that she'd start to dry his hair. She chuckled when she heard him gasp a little.
