First Love, First Heartache

"Appa, eomma, I'm going to stay at Fany's house for a week." She is wearing a dark sunglasses to hide her swollen eyes. She kissed her parents and was about to leave when her father called her.

"Yul, wait. Minho went here yesterday and he left something for you. He wanted me to give you this." He's holding a red box with white ribbon.

"Thanks appa...Goodbye!" She kissed her father.

"Give my regards to Tiffany and enjoy your vacation." Yuri took the box from Donghae's hand, grabbed her baggage and walked outside. Yoona followed her outside and stopped her.

"Unnie..." Yoona embraced her. " I knew how you feel. I knew you loved him, Minho oppa." Yuri was shocked about her sister's actions. Then Yoona faced her.

"I will drive you to Fany unnie's house. Appa let me borrow his car."

They are riding in a red car, ford sedan owned by their father. Yuri is not talking since they have departed from their house.

"Unnie, I understand you but please talk. I don't used to this kind of silence especially that you are not talking." Yoona was so worried about her sister.

"Yoong, please...just drive. Concentrate on driving." Yuri faced to the window to avoid her sister. She said nothing after that until they reached Tiffany's house.

"We're here. I hope you will be alright when you come back home." Yoona said not facing Yuri.

"Yoong, come here..." Yuri opened her arms to embrace her sister. Yoona hugged her tight.

"Thanks a lot. I will be okay. Be careful in driving." Yuri released her and went out of the car.

"I will give my Christmas present next week. I know you will like it." Yuri waved a goodbye to her sister. She smiled to hide the pain she felt.

"Yul, stop crying." Fany tried to comfort her. "Forget about him."

"Fany, it's really hurt...with him, I felt the happiness I didn't feel before. With him, I feel safe and protected." Her heart sank on that situation. It feels like her whole world turned upside down.

"I'm excited to see him when we came back to tell him my real feelings and ask him if he feels the same way too but what have i got? The news that he left, without saying goodbye. He left me with this useless bottle." Yuri opened the box that Minho gave her. Inside it is a black medium-sized bottle with the word 'YUL' on it. Her name was formed through different shells.

"Yul, I've known you for so long. You are such a strong person. I know you can overcome this situation."

"I don't believe that real love will happen in my life before, but it came true because of him."

"Yul..." Fany hugged her tight. She felt pity with her friend and she didn't know what to do to ease the pain that Yuri felt.

Week has past and the Kwon celebrated the Christmas. They had their exchange gifts and had their dinner. This is her first time to celebrate Christmas being unhappy. Yoona gave her a CD and she tried to play it in her room. She listened to the CD and heard a piano playing and a familiar voice singing. Her heart became heavier as she listened to the song. This was the last time she heard his voice...

5 years later...

It is Saturday noon when Yuri is practicing for the Worship Service. She's playing a keyboard while singing "There Is None Like You".

She stopped playing when she heard someone clapping at the back. She looked at the person and found out that it was her younger sister, Yoona.

"Yoong, you startled me. Father brought me here early this morning but he didn't allow me to bring my baby." She explained to her sister. "Yoong, have you brought my baby here? I miss him already!" Yuri asked excitedly.

"You haven't seen him just this morning, you already miss him? He's outside with your architect..." Yoona said winking her sister.

"And what is Nichkhun doing to my baby?" She said arching her brows.

"Just see them yourself..." She immediately ran outside, after hearing those words...
