Bughead Oneshots

Betty was rushing around, like always, checking for the odd few things she may have forgotten, even after double and triple checking days before. Paranoia was Betty's worst enemy at times and she just wanted this weekend away with her best friends to be perfect.

"What is taking her so long?" Archie questioned. "Go check on her Jug."

"Probably overthinking, you know how she is, let me go check on her hold on." Jughead replied.

He stepped out the car and headed for the house to seek out his worrisome girlfriend.

"Well, well, well, Betty Cooper." Jughead began, jokingly. "What is taking you're cute butt so long."

"Juggie," she dragged out, "This isn't funny what if I've forgot something, like clothes! What if I haven't packed enough!" Betty said.

"Firstly, we both know that wouldn't happen and secondly, you could just wear mine, I certainly wouldn't mind." Jughead winked. Slowly grabbing Betty's waist, he threw her playfully onto the bed, following suit and diving in to tickle her sides.

"No! No! No! STOOPPP JUG." She giggled, a wave of gasps left her as she fought to get away from Jugheads vice like grip on her waist.

Meanwhile, in the car Archie and Veronica were becoming very inpatient having to wait around.

"Ugh what in the world are they doing." Veronica said impatiently.

"Probably making out." Archie chuckled in response.

*Honk Honk*

"I think they're getting a bit inpatient," Jughead said as he began to head towards the front door

"Awwww, Do I not get one last kiss from my prince charming?" Betty pleaded.

"Now then, I could never say no to such cute puppy dog eyes like yours could I?" Jughead said as he grabbed Betty by the waist again and this time pulled her close to him. His lips slowly fit against hers as they shared a very soft, yet romantic, kiss.

*Honk Honk*

"I really do think we should be going now," Betty giggled.

"Probably," Jughead shrugged.

And with that they both left for the door, Betty grabbed everything she needed and Jughead followed behind her, locking the door but she didn't realize that her hair was messed up and her lipstick was smudged from when Jughead threw her on the bed.

"Deffo made out,"Archie sniggered

Veronica burst out laughing, "Shhhh They're coming."

And with that they got in the car and headed of.

They were planning to first go to pops, so exiting, I know, but they had to have one last milkshake before leaving Riverdale for a while.

They went in, ordered and sat in the same old booth they always did, the one in the very corner.

They all had so many memories here.

It was were Veronica and Betty first met.

Its were Archie and Betty used to always hang out and most importantly for Betty, where she had had some of the most romantic moments of her life with Jughead.

"So where next on the list of places to go on our fantastic road trip." Jughead asked, snapping Betty out of her thoughts. He realized Betty was thinking about something.

"Earth to Betty," Jughead mocked, "What ya thinking about baby."

"Nothing concerning, just all the memories we have here, together." Betty said. "You guys mean a lot to me"

"Aw B, you mean a lot to us as well, Seriously, if it wasnt for you telling Archie to put that jacket on of Jasons we may have never fount out who his murderer was, and we can finally get away from the town a while," Veronica laughed.

"Exactly."Jughead chimed in, "Betty, I love you so much and without you I don't know if I would of ever gotten through this crazy year, you were there for me when I needed you the most which is why.."

Jughead got on one knee.

"Betty Cooper, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me."

Betty began dancing in disbelief, "Of course I will marry you."

And with that the gang, followed by the rest of pops cheered the engaged couple out of pops and the four got in there car, ready for the adventure of a life time.

This was the first one shot I had ever wrote and some of the techniques I used were mortifying so here's a more improved (but still bad) version.
