A Dream That Became Reality

Chapter 2: Old Friend

I walk into my classroom and sit down at my desk taking out the items out of my coat pocket and put them into the front pocket of my backpack. It was really warm in the classroom today which is odd since the heater was broken. The bell had rung beginning class our teacher walked in with a girl following behind him. I paused only for a moment before realizing who she was. She was my best friend in middle school, Yoonsun was her name. She was grown up and she was beautiful. I shook my head, "she may remember me and she may not, only time will decide" i thought to myself. A few seconds passed as the teacher introduced Yoonsun. I turned my attention to the whiteboard seeing our lesson for the day. I reached onto my backpack and pulled out my, textbook and proceeded to work on the assignment. I paused for a moment, reaching back into my backpack and pulling out my earbuds. I plug them into my phone and listen to BTS's Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix). I quickly finish the assignment and turn it into the teacher. As i turn it in the teacher hands me the semester exam review. I returned to my desk and started working on it. Exams were next week, then its Christmas break. I was focused on my work and listening to music when I felt someone tap on my shoulder. I pulled out an earbud and looked up. It was Yoonsun. She smiled at me and said "remember me? " I looked at her reassuringly "yes how could I forget it's been awhile" she smiled happily and chuckled "I'm so glad I get to see you again". She paused for a moment looking at the back of my sweatshirt then back at me. "You like BTS!? ". There was excitement in her voice. I smiled brightly and nodded "sure do". She seemed to jump with joy and my response. I chuckled "bias? " I said with a smile. She looked at me "my bias?...it's Namjoon". I smiled "I love Namjoon as well". A few seconds passed then the bell rang. I looked to Kaiya and smiled "whats your next class? ". She pulled out her schedule and handed it to me. Turned out we had the same class. "Same class as me" I said as I lead her there. That class was theater. As I lead her down to the theater room I saw Hanwoo and waved to her. She walked over with a smile as she noticed Yoonsun. "Who's this? " she said with a chuckle. "This is Yoonsun we were friends a long time ago back in middle school". Hanwoo looked at me then at Yoonsun and streached her hand out, Yoonsun taking it "it's nice to meet you Yoonsun I'm Hanwoo". Kelsey was a very easy going person and loved meeting new people unlike me who couldn't ask Kels to help me with my homework. We all headed to theater after Hanwoo met Yoonsun, all having the same class was nice. We always had someone to talk too. As we approached the theater room and walked in, we all noticed that there was a sub, which means there is no assignment for today. We all happily made our ways to our seats helping Kaiya find one. Me and Hanwoo usually sat on the couch since we were seinors. Yoonsun was also a senior so we all sat together on the couch and discussed our class work. I had my phone in my has as we were talking and Hanwoo noticed that I put the J-Hope cut out in my phone case which was clear. She looked towards me "you like the cut out don't you? " I looked back at her hiding my phone. She giggled, then Yoonsun took my phone pulling out hers as well showing the backs of our phones. Hers had a Rap Monster cut out in it. Hanwoo looked at the cases and pulled our her phone to revel she as well had a cut out of her bias which was Suga. We all fangirled a bit as Hanwoo spoke to Yoonsun "Your and A. R. M. Y?! " she smiled happily "I am and have been from the start in 2013" Kels smiled back and then reached in her bag and pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to Yoonsun "here I had an extra" she gave a small smile as she did so. She took it looking at Hanwoo, she nodded and opened it reading it slowly. She gasped and put her hand over her mouth. "Are these for real?! " She nodded happily. "Oh my god thank you" she hugged Hanwoo tightly. The bell rang, class was over. We hopped up to go to the next class when someone came over the intercom saying class was dismissed because of the weather. We looked at each other smiling. "Yay schools out for today" Hanwoo said with excitement in her voice. I smiled at both of them "we better get home before the weather gets worse" I said to them. We began to make our way out of the building and Hanwoo and Yoonsun went to their cars while I started walking. "I wish my car would have started earlier" I mumbled to myself. The wind was strong and cold, yet felt nice. I proceeded to walk in the snow. About 20 minutes later I arrived home. Opening the door i called out "I'm home school let out early". There was silence for a moment and then I heard it, my parents still fighting.
