Nightmares

✨Yuu POV✨
     I could hear Mika enter the room. I'm actually really glad he would be sleeping in the same room as me. "Hey Yuu-Chan? Are you awake?" Mika asked. "Yeah." I replied. "Having trouble sleeping?" He asked. "Yeah." I replied again. "Would you like me to sleep next to you?" He asked. My face went red, did he really just ask that?   Of course my mind kept saying yes, "Yeah, that would help, I guess."

     Mika got up and pulled back the blanket. He laid down next to me and pulled the blanket back over us. "Good night Yuu-Chan." Mika said. "Yeah, Good night Mika." I replied.

     I fell asleep...

     "Stop it!" I yelled. He kept whipping me over and over. I was only seven. "Daddy stop!" I yelled again. He wouldn't stop and every time the belt hit my back I felt pain until I felt the blood running down my back.

     After resting and knowing everyone was asleep I ran downstairs to the kitchen. I wanted to try something I saw on the internet. I grabbed one of the knives from the block. At first I was hesitant but was finally able to cut myself. It felt nice. I cut myself again and again.

     I ran back up to my bedroom after cleaning the cuts. "How will I hide these?" I asked myself. I looked in my closet where I found the hoodie mom got me last year. "I'll wear this tomorrow." I whispered to myself.

The next morning I ran down the stairs, grabbed my stuff, said goodbye to mom, and left the house without stopping. My back and arm hurt but I kept running. I decided not to eat breakfast. I ran into class and sat at my desk. I put my head down and tried to be invisible. "Sup Amane." Said Shigeo. "How ya been?" He taunted. "Go away Shigeo. I'm not in the mood." I replied. Shigeo grabbed me by the collar and lifted me from my seat. "Your never in the mood. I thought you loved my beatings." He said. "Well I don't." I replied.

Shigeo growled and pulled me along to the back of the school. The bell rang. "I have to get to class can you let go please?" I pleaded. "Ha your just an average scaredy cat. Bet you'll cry if I only pinch you." He slapped me on the back. I flinched and cried out in pain. That was where my father had whipped me. "What's the deal Amane? You a frail and weak child? Oh wait you are." Shigeo said hitting me again and again.

After Shigeo beat me I spent the rest of the day in a locker. After school I was finally released by the janitor. "Thank you sir." I said. "Your always stuck in a locker. Is there something the headmaster needs to know?" He replied. "Uh no sir. Just got pushed and ended up trapped in my locker. You know how Crowdy the hallway will get." I ran off.

After returning home I was relieved to see my dad wasn't home. I went up to the bathroom where I found the stuff to clean bruises and scratches. I got rid of all the evidence of Shigeo and went to my room. I crawled into bed and fell asleep.

When I opened my eyes I was in my room and my hands and legs were tied down. I looked around and my eyes landed on my father. I had just realized where I was. It was the time my father kidnapped me from Mika's house. "Mmph." I tried to say but I was gagged. My dad pulled out the whip a smacked it against my skin with a crack. I started crying. "Mmph! Mmph!" I couldn't say anything.

I woke up screaming. I was panting really hard and I was covered in sweat. I started crying and curled up into a ball. Mika sat up in panic. "Yuu-Chan! What's wrong?" He asked. "Nightmares." I mumbled. "Were they if your father?" He asked. I sniffed, "yeah." Mika grabbed me and wrapped his arms around my scared fragile body. "It's okay. Those nightmares can't hurt you. Not while I'm protecting you." Mika assured me. "I started crying into his shoulder. "You...promise?" I stuttered. "Yeah. I promise." He replied.

I ended up crying myself asleep.

Hello everyone. I'm sure your mad that I haven't updated recently. I'm sorry I've just been lazy, I had to set up my new phone, I've had school, and I've been addicted to that sandbox game. I know those aren't excuses, and I know I'm sorry this is a shorter chapter but I wanted to at least get something out. I also have to work on all my other fan fictions. I hope you can forgive me.
