(Axel's P.O.V.)
"You're still worrying about it?" My brother, Alistair, asked as I continued packing.
A few days ago, I got a letter in the mail. It was my acceptance letter from my older brother's college, Oakwood University.
He goes to college about three hours away from home, so commuting is not an option.
"Obviously. I've never been away from home for an extended period of time." I mumbled, shoving clothes in a suitcase.
He rolled his eyes at me, "Trust me, it's not all that. It's not a really big college, you'll be fine. Plus, since you took all those AP classes, you might not have to spend four whole years there."
I guess.
He wasn't really making he feel better about the whole thing.
It's not that I didn't want to go to college. But, this one in particular is pretty far, a party school, and it's more money since it's out of state.
Awesome.
From what I know, none of my friends from high school are going there.
"Anyway, move in day is on Friday, and you have to participate in orientation weekend. Have fun with that. Oh, and a friend of mine has a younger cousin who's a freshman this year, too. You should try to make some friends this weekend." He said, seriously.
"Yeah, I know, I know."
"I'm only saying it because you get all shy."
Ugh.
"I'm trying to pack, ok?"
"Fine." He shrugged and left my room.
I emitted a heavy sigh as I went on, alone.
(Elsewhere......)
(Nathan's P.O.V.)"I am SO EXCITED."
I looked up from my book to see Evan sitting on his suitcase that he had just finished stuffing and sealing shut.
He bounced on his case, "How are you not excited??"
"I've been there for a year, already. It's not that exciting, it's school." I pointed out.
"But, you were independent!"
"I was, but I was never really dependent on anyone else, except for maybe Jess. And he was with me anyway."
He hummed, "Whatever, I'm still excited."
"Feel free."
He seemed to zone out a bit, as he does.
I got up, figuring I was done helping him pack, and went back to my room.
I passed by Jesse's door, and glanced in.
He was sitting on his bed, leaning against the wall.
He wore headphones that blasted seriously loud music.
"Jess, did you pack, already?" I asked him.
He just gave me a nod.
Well, ok then.
I continued to my room.
(Elsewhere, again....)
(William's P.O.V.)"Are you sure you want to travel so far for college? You could stay somewhere close by." My mother said, slightly pleading.
I inwardly groaned, "Honestly, this place is so dull, how could I stay here? I need some new faces to manipulate."
She frowned at my words, "That doesn't sound like a valid reason."
"I'm not going to waste my time hanging around here. Don't you know, there are people out there I haven't had a chance to fuck wth, yet?"
(Another elsewhere......)
(Jack's P.O.V.)"I'm amazed you were accepted." My dad said to me, "Even after seeing your records, they've decided that you'd fit into their school. Color me surprised."
My mother gave me that same look she's been giving me since I was in middle school.
"If I had to be honest, I'd say you'd get kicked out within the first week. Hell, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. The first month." The disappointment in his voice was obvious.
As usual, my mother didn't say anything.
I turned to leave, and he added, "I wouldn't pack too much, if I were you."
