First day

Im so happy the moment i step out city hall station. Im so ready to work hard for my intern program, even tho its freezing cold in December morning. Im wearing my skinny black trousers along with maroon turtleneck & white long shirt along with my black fluffy outer. Followed by black studded boots and my Kate Spade floral shopper bag. Im happy seeing how i look this morning. I spent quite a time arranging my hair and i loved it. I hope today can be a good day. It's my first day, after all.
After walking for approximately 10 minutes, i see the big blue and red building with 'Korean-ASEAN Center' in it. The building is huge and quite artistic. I like that. I take a deep breath before going in to my work place. I see a petite asian with a blonde hair greets me whom i think is the receptionist "Hello miss Janet Lee. Thank you for coming on time. I will show you to your desk and introduce you to the other interns". "Uh alright ma'am thanks," i replied.

"Hello everyone. Im Janet Lee from Singapore. My mom is a Korean so i can speak Korean quite well. I just graduated from uni and I'm 23 years old. I hope we can work along well. Nice to see you guys," i introduce myself followed by a slight bow in front my desk. Everyone claps and then i sit in my desk, wondering what kind of work i have to do today.
"Janet ssi, would you mind if i ask you to have a drink tonight after work?," asked the Korean man with the pink-ish hair whose desk is on my left. I dont drink at all. But, is it polite if i refused? I need to make friends here. I think i dont have a choice but to agree. "That's nice. Where are we going?," i replied. "Turtle Union Bar. It's super cozy and not crowded. We'll go together along with Jason, Hyerin nuna and Jihoon hyung. By the way, im sorry i haven't introduced myself yet. Im Park Nam. Naneun Busan saramieyo," said Nam cheerfully. "That sounds fun! It feels good to make a new friend on the first day. Btw, dont i have a time to change?" I dont wanna stuck with my work clothes hm. "Nope. This is what Koreans do after work. And just so you know you are gorgeous young lady. You should know the moment you step in, eveyone likes you," says Nam. Oh my. I think i like him already.

"Janet ssi! Let's go to the bar right now. I need drink after a tiring day," Nam shouted. "Who is Janet," asked the handsome guy with a nice jawline. Wow he looks like an idol. And suddently i feel arms around my shoulder "Jihoon hyung. This is the girl that i told you this noon. She is Janet and she's coming with us," Nam explained. "Ah arasso. Palli ga yo," replied Jihoon with an exasperated sounds. Um Jihoon is a grumpy man for sure. "Don't mind his attitude. He hates pretty woman. Just try to put up with his attitude, Janet ah," said Nam with a smirk. "I see. Btw i think you can call me Jen instead of Janet. Its more comfortable," i said. "Alright, whatever you want Jen," Nam replied.

"Let's cheer to the newest intern, Jen!!," announced Nam. "OMO. Neon neomu yeppoyo. Im so jealous of your dimples," said Hyerin. "Hahaha anieyo noona. Stop teasing me," i replied. "Stop it hyerina. She doesnt like when people tell her that she's gorgeous," said Nam. "ㅋㅋㅋ you're weird," replied hyerin. And then Jason said something "Jen, why dont you drink? You haven't touch your soju yet." Omo do i have to be honest? "Im really sorry but i dont drink at all. I can't even handle a can of beer. I better stay away from alcohol," i say with an apologetic look. "Gwenchanayo. I was just wondering if you're under age hahaha," Jason jokes. I like him immediately. People like Jason keep this world peaceful with his jokes. "OMONA. I cant believe i win the lottery!!!!," hyerin said while jumping up and down. "EXOya?," asked Nam. "Ne! Who else? Oh my god im gonna have to call in sick tomorrow. I'll have to queue since early morning. Im soooo happy that i get to meet my sehun," hyerin says excitedly. I recall my meeting with Chanyeol 2 days ago. Life is so weird sometimes and also full of surprises. If only i get his sign. I probably be rich right now. LOL.
"Jen, dont you like exo? Everyone is going crazy over them," asks Jason
"People like Jen are crazy over them but act as if they're not interested. Am i right?," asks Jihoon. "Ne? Im sorry but what is wrong if i only happen to know chanyeol and sehun in exo? Does that make me weird? Well, i like their song especially their latest comeback. My morning alarm even kokobop," i reply annoyingly. I dont like this Jihoon saram. He annoys me so bad.
"Guys i think we better finish our drinks and go home. I just remembered that i have morning meeting tomorrow," interrupts Nam. Thank you Nam for preventing me to have a fight with Jihoon.
