Noelle's POV

What the hell is his problem?

I know he was just making fun of me when he 'complimented' my sweater.

God, he really gets into my nerves.

Okay, breathe Noelle. Breathe.... breathe.... br-

Oh, we're here.

Great. Welcome to hell. Or as other people call it, school.

I was the last one to get out of the bus because I was sitted at the back part of the bus, where most of the losers sit.

I wonder where's Peggy.

She's been my bestfriend since 8th grade. And now here we are in senior year, still best of friends.

I don't even know how we became friends.

She's popular, pretty and fit. While me, I'm just your typical nerd.

I guess it just happened.

I heard the bell ringing.

Ugh, I always loved English. But then our teacher, Ms.Goldman made Harry sit behind me.

He's been pulling pranks on me. He made me despise English so much.

Oh well, here goes nothing.

I stopped walking when I saw the familiar door.

It was old and the knob is really rusty and dusty. Hey, that rhymed. Okay, I'm so weird.

I opened the door and walked quickly to my sit while looking down.

I don't want them to notice me. They'll just start teasing me again.

I wish Peggy comes to school today. She's the one who stands up for me when I'm being bullied. I can handle myself. I just don't have the confidence to stand up for myself.

I'm really really shy. I barely talk to other people except Peggy ofcourse.

I lifted my head a little and saw Harry already sitted. He was wearing his famous smirk again.

I know he has something bad planned for me.

He has one everyday. And when I say everyday, I mean every single day.

I reached my chair and sat straight on it.

Ms.Goldman isn't here yet so I decided to do an advance reading.

A few minutes later, someone behind me poked my sides then handed me a letter.

Who could that be? Oh, who am I kidding. Ofcourse I know who it is. It was the one and only Harry Styles.

He slid a note on my desk. I read it silently and my eyes grew wide.

"You look really good in that sweater. I wonder what you look like without them ;) -H xx"

I felt my cheeks burn.

What the fridge?!

I crumpled the piece of paper, stood up, threw it in the trash can and went back to my sit smoothly.

I heard Harry chuckle behind me. God, he's really annoying.

What did I ever do to him? Why is he treating me like this?

He was really kind before. That was why I had a crush on him.

But I don't like him anymore. I just despise him.

Okay I lied. I still like him, well just a tiny, little crush that's all.

Ms. Goldman finally walked in. We have an early bird in here, eh?

"Good morning. Sorry I'm a little late. I had to run some errands earlier. So, now turn your books to page 394."

My classes went by fast.

Before I know it, it was already lunch time.

I walked awkwardly towards the cafeteria door.

People in there had their own tables and groups. The popular and smart kids, popular but dumb kids, the losers, the cool kids, the bitches and sluts, the nerds and geeks, the normal kids and last but not the least, the good looking kids.

People that sat there are really gorgeous and handsome, obviously.

Harry sits on that table. Along with his friends Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Danielle Peazer, who is Liam's girlfriend and Georgia Rose, my step-sister.

Peggy Atkins, my bestfriend, sits with them sometimes. But when she does, she ends up fighting with Harry because she scolds Harry for bullying me.

But ofcourse knowing Harry, he wouldn't let Peggy win.

I went to the lunch lady and got tuna sandwich and a bottle of water. I wasn't really hungry.

I walked out of the cafeteria and went straight to the school garden.

I sat under the tree and ate my food while reading my favorite book. I don't eat at the cafeteria. I just feel like I don't belong in any of those groups. I feel like I don't belong in this school either.

Harry's POV

The look on her face was priceless. The way her eyebrows almost touched each other because of frowning.

It was the funniest sight.

"Harry, mate." Niall calls me.

"Huh? What?"

"What's up with you? Aren't you gonna eat?" He says motioning to my pasta.

One fact about Niall is that he loves food.

"Uh. No, I'm not hungry anymore."

"How can you ignore that very delicious looking pasta?" He fake gasps looking at the pasta.

"Whatever man. You can have it if you want. I haven't touched it yet." I shrug.

"Now that's more like it." He said grinning like a mad man.

I looked around the room. Searching for someone to make fun of, until I see her awfully knitted sweater.

Her back is faced to us as she exits the cafeteria.

"I'm just gonna go get some fresh air. Call me when you're leaving." I said to Niall and he just nods.

I stood up from my seat and followed her.

I don't know why she doesn't sit at the cafeteria during lunch. I mean, she could sit with the nerds and losers.

I followed her until she reached the soccer field.

She sat under the tree and started eating her food. She's holding a book with her other hand.

Oh, so this is where she eats.

I made my way to her and sat down beside her.

Well, not exactly beside her 'cause there was a good 1 foot space between us.

She didn't even notice me as she continues to read the book she's holding.

"Hey." I started the conversation.

Her head snapped up upon hearing my voice.

She looked utterly shocked and confused. Her shocked expression is quickly replaced with a frown.

Whoa there. I haven't even said anything except a simple hey.

She didn't answer me as she continued to read her book. How rude.

"Whatcha readin'?" I start again. Hoping to get a decent answer.

"The fault in our stars." She answers quietly but enough for me to hear.

"Is it good?"

"Very."

"Oh." That's all I could think of as a response.

I can feel that she doesn't like talking to me. Well I don't either.

I don't even know why I followed her here. I just want to make fun of her, I guess.
