Light stabbed through Serenity's eyes, she looked over at Jamie who was still asleep. She smiled and left the room to get water. Jamie's mom didn't know he was gay and she freaked out when she saw Seren.

"Serenity, why were you in Jamie's room, why are you here."

"Oh, nothing I spent the night because I drank last night and I didn't want to drive," Serenity made up a lie, and a pretty reasonable one too. Mrs. Kurtis gave her dirty look but the lie worked and Serenity went back to Jamie's room without her water.

"Oh there you are Seren, where did you go," Jamie asked.

Serenity was mad and she didn't answer his question, "You haven't told her yet."

Jamie put his hands up then letting them flop down and smack legs, "It's not the easiest thing you know."

Serenity put her hand against her forehead, "When I went to get water, she saw me and thought that we..."

"Oh lord, uh ewe," Jamie said.

"Hey!" Serenity laughed because insults never bothered her. Jamie slipped on his jeans, only they were clean. His shirt on the other hand was still the same.

"Serenity, lets grab coffee at your mom's cafe."

"Sure, she won't be there but this hang over wont cure itself."  She grabbed her purse, but she had no money, "Oh shoot, sorry I can't go...I don't have money, sorry."

Jamie shook his head no, "I got you girl." Serenity smiled as they headed down stairs.

" So Seren, I have been thinking...about collage that is."

"Oh really, to do what?" She asked in a surprised tone. Was he coming out of his funk?

" Novelist... or a therapist of some sort." Jamie loved helping people, but he couldn't do the same for himself, no matter how hard he tried.

"Lets walk, it's not that far, I need the air anyway," Serenity suggested. Jamie nodded and slipped his car keys back in his pocket and sighed. It wasn't that he was lazy, he just like to be there quicker as if he feel like his life ends tomorrow. Which he, or any one was to know. The walk felt very long, they ran out of things to talk about half way there.

Serenity broke the silence, "So, do you have any crushes...on a boy?"

"I'm not sure, well actually no...I haven't found the right one yet."

"I have a crush...," Serenity said as she bit her lip, signaling Jamie to ask who.

"Cool," Jamie said.

"Wow, are you gonna ask who?"

Jamie shrugged, "Fine who."

"Caleb, he is in my new collage class." Jamie nodded his head,"Cool cool."

As the kept walking, it felt like forever, they made it to the cafe. When they walked in a bell chimed. The sound of blenders and chopping could be heard. Jamie and Seren ordered their breakfast and coffee and talked about life.
