Maria's POV
As we walk into the club I start feeling uncomfortable, I just couldn't do it. But before I could even leave the room Megan grabbed my forearm and said "Don't even think about it, we haven't even been here for a minute. Just give it some time" "But I feel uncomfortable and I need to finish the rest of my paperwork" I said.
"First of all when you agreed to come to this club with me you never said anything about paperwork, and second of all when was the last time you went out with me and didn't care about work?" she asked curiously, "Ok fine, I'll stay a little longer" I said.

"I admit Megan, I had a lot of fun. But I need to get home now" I told her, "I get it Maria. See ya tomorrow at work."
As she finished I got up from my seat and went outside. But after I realized Megan had drove me here I was outside and couldn't go back inside.
"Great job Maria not only have you lost your ride but your phone is also dead" I thought. "Maria?" a man said behind me, "Michael, what a pleasant surprise"
"Same here, what are you doing here?" he asked "Oh my friend Megan drove me here and now I lost my ride home." I told him.
"Well do you need a ride home, Its no trouble" he said. "I guess so" I said. Before he could say another word I walked up to the car and sat down and gave him my address.

Back at home
"Thank you for giving me a ride home, I needed it" I told him, "Your welcome Ms. Santiago, are the dinner plans still intact?" "Yes they are" I told him. Before he could say anything else I got out the car to the front door and went inside.
