The day dawned brightly one August morning. Streaks of warm sunlight ignited a dark room. A lump on the bed rustled as it shook and woke up lazily, he stretched out, getting down his bed. After the morning routine, on went a black shirt, a black tight jean, black sneakers and a doctor coat. He was petite, beautiful, everything an angel would possess. He was Byun Baekhyun.
He had lived to see his dream of becoming a doctor, and here he was a qualified doctor at just the age of twenty five. A Psychiatrist he was. He was to start his work today at his fathers mental hospital. An asylum to be precise. Yet he loved it. He loved to heal people. So he set out to work with a soft smile playing on his gorgeous face as he drove his expensive car to work.
He walked through white hallways until he reached his glass cabin, he smiled sitting behind the huge table that stood with stacks before him. The cabin wasn't all serene it was a mixer of different sounds. Sounds of crying, wailing, cursing and pitiful moanings of patients. He sighed this was it.
"May I come in sir?" A girls voice sounded out side his fogged cabin door.
"Yes, you may." His voice was calm and steady.
"Goodmorning, Hi Baekhyun." A girl of his very own age waved at him in joy. He chuckled waving back.
"Hi Taeyeon." Baekyun replied the gesture. Taeyeon was his friend back at medical school. A genius like him. She had been head over heals for him since the day they had met. Yet he had always politely rejected the offer always. For at the back of his organised mind sat a handsome idiot who he loved so much that he was whipped for the fellow. He wanted to find him and start a new, even if the giant hated him now he wanted to make him fall for him again.
"Umm so Baek, you've got a few patients to look about, yet your brother put you on permanent duty over this guy, and I'm confused as to why?" Teayeon pouted as she flipped through pages of a document.
"Tell me about him, and we'll go see him." The flawless doctor put his arms on his glass table.
"His name was never given, I don't know why. Well he is under delicate care since he is in his last stage of his mental illness. He is often aggressive and violent. Yet he can be calm and friendly sometimes. He is provided with canvas and paint. For he paints exceptionally well. He even drew me once." She finished giggling.
Baekhyun nodded getting up, as he went on his way to see this strange patient. Taeyeon following suit. They stood before the door, 504. The grey door was pushed into a plain white room, somethings were broken, with a easel standing proud at the corner of the room window, a half finished painting on the canvas. There was a metal bed with chains tightly clutched. Baekhyun's eyes trace the chains to find where it ended. There at the farthest corner of the room sat a huge figure, burying its black haired head inside the valley of his thighs. The doctor moved closer, but a hand held his.
"He's dangerous Baek." Taeyeon said fear filled in her eyes. But the boy chuckled as he moved closer to the figure.
He knelt down to meet the patients crouched height. Papers of various paintings scattered around him. Some torn some crushed. Baekhyun's slender fingers trace the paintings with a simple smiled of amusement on his face. When his eyes caught a picture that carried every colour possible. A beautiful chocolate brown haired flawless white skinned boy with a box smile was drawn on the smooth canvas. On the top of the painting with familiar handwriting it was painted. "My Rainbow Forever." Baekhuyn gulped down his saliva as tears pricked at this eyes, as he saw himself painted perfectly, with every detail of feature in place. To his hair to the mole on the right of his upper lip was reflecting like his college self looked back at him like a mirror.
Baekhyun felt a hard gaze on him. He turned around to be stabbed right at the center of his heart. The familiar face he had fallen in love with stared back at him. The once stunning handsome man who had an amazing vibe of joy looked so dull and smug. His cheeks were sunken, dark circles caged his beautiful blue almond shaped eyes. Baekhyun collapsed on the floor his butt going flat on the cold marble. Tears ran down his chubby cheeks as he looked at the man before him. A mere skeleton he was, the once well built, sexy heart throb of the school, the boy Baekhyun loved with all his might, was a ruin. He was a painful wreck. The face that once held millions of overwhelming emotions held nothing at all. The deep blue oceans that carried so many things was void of anything.
"Yeo...Yeollie." Baekhyun choked at the figure who gazed down at the beautiful man before him.
"You look very much like him." The once deep soothing voice that made Baekhyun go crazy for was broken into a mere whisper. The thick fingers Baekhyun loved to lace his fingers with were bony. The boy caressed the picture's lips as he looked at Baekhyun.
"He is my sunshine that ignites my world, But he left, he said he never loved me. And......Left." The voice said as his hand fell weakly onto the ground. Baekhyun heard Taeyeon gasp at the back.
"He just remembered a memory." She gasped once more before sitting on the bed shocked.
Baekhyun choked on his sobs. He hugged the painting as he wailed out painfully. His delicate arm lifted itself as it felt the dry skin beneath that once was soft like velvet.
"Who are you?" The boy had asked.
Baekhyun shook his head as he threw the painting away dashing out of the room. He locked himself in his cabin bathroom as he slid down the down unable to breath. He held his heart with pain as he chanted no's. The lips that always chanted Baekhyun's name like a mantra just asked him who he was?
"I just wanted to hurt you, I never wanted to break you. I always loved you Yeollie. I always did. I just wanted to hurt you for what you did to me. Why Yeollie?" Baekhyun wailed clutching his hair as he cried puddles of a painful heartbreak.
"What have I done?"
