Chapter 4

Rose's P.O.V

I had only been there for 2days but those 2days felt like an eternity .I started to wonder how long I was going to be here .My body was sore from chores and sleepless nights also from the  revolting  food  I had no choice but to eat

I walked along the corridor . The atmosphere was eerie that’s when I realised I was  lost .Panic rushed in , my breathing got faster . My eyes rapidly searched trying to figure out where I was . I heard a growl in the background the sound grew louder I ran through the corridor , I ran to….i dunno I just kept running I looked back every time , I could feel it chasing me . The thundering  footsteps invaded my ears as they got nearer . I stopped to find myself facing a wall I struggled searching  for an escape. I could scream for help but there was no point , no one could hear my cries it was only that thing and I . The growling became deeper  , much deeper .My heart rate increased , my legs frozen with fear . My hands moved along the wall hoping , praying that there was a secret passage , my eyes where now filled with tears . I heard a creak and to my surprise the wall revolved to reveal a luxurious red and black master bedroom . I let out a sigh of relief  realising that I was safe from it , whatever it was . My body relaxed and I collapsed on the bed .

I awoke to the silent echo of footsteps . My eyelids  flattered until finally I opened my eyes to see Damien standing at the edge of the bed .

 {Now Damien ‘s P.O.V}

I walked into my bedroom . My jaw dropped for a moment I thought my eyes where deceiving me  but there she was laying on my bed gracefully sleeping . I was tempted to wake her up and tell he to get out but something in my non-beating heart stopped me , instead I let her sleep . She started shivering , I took the red blanket that lay on the chair and covered her with it . She quickly tugged the blanket and let of a soft moan .I  studied her she was sweating and shivering she seemed so helpless and uncomfortable it made my heart sink , her face looked extremely pale,  all I wanted to do was to wrap her in my arms . I shook my head to erase the thought of even getting intimate with a human . Suddenly her eyelids started to flatter and then her eyes where wide open. I could see the fear in her eyes as she gazed at me . I stood at the edge of the bed motionless our eyes locked together both of us wondering who was going to make the first sound .

‘’You shouldn’t walk into a stranger’s bedroom ‘’ I managed to cough out , my eyes sinked deeper into the pool of her golden eyes .

‘’Um..I..I’’ she stammered .

‘’ You never know what they might do ‘’ I continued this time with more confidence and with a devious grin . She looked startled .

‘’Next time you want to take a nap , go somewhere else ..Actually….Why are you in here ?’’ I asked anxious to hear her anxious . As soon as I asked her that question her eyes filled with perilous flames of anger .

‘’What . Am . I . Doing . Here ?’’ she yelled , sounding each word carefully and clear.She shoved the blanket to the side and stood up.

“Well one of your stupid monsters or demon tried to freaking eat me” this time she yelled even louder. She was so short and beautiful she almost looked like a 9 year old  throwing  a tantrum I bite my lip holding back the laughter.

‘’Monster?’’

“YES ! Monster do you want in writing ? You have no clue how scared I was “ she said , suddenly tears of frustration started streaming down her cheeks , I studied her sympathy built up inside of me  , I had never seen a women crying infront of me before . I was unsure of what to do , instead of comforting her ,I looked away .It hurt me to see her cry .

“My apologizes’’I mumbled

“Just let out of this hell hole!’’ she exclaimed wiping away the tears .

“I can’t do that’’ I answered lowering my gaze.

“What do you mean you can’?t’’ she said sternly . Getting closer to me whilst gradually taking the knife from her thigh holster ,her body filled with range . It was amazing how quick this girl could change her mood.

“I don’t answer to you” I answered back softly but ruthlessly . I said that because I had no answer to her question I didn’t know why I couldn’t let her go all I knew was that I needed her so bad it hurt. My reply made her even more outraged , she walked closer and closer to me . I backed away not wanting to hurt her until I met the wall. She  roughly pinned me against the wall , her hand reached my neck causing her fingers to dig into my neck .

“Let go “ I said firmly but instead she gripped even tighter , she was so heated she was now shaking with rage .

‘’No’’ she whispered into my ear .She took the knife and held it close to my heart, her hand shaking  ,as she did that suddenly her whole body collapsed on the floor with a THUD her eyeballs rolled back and her eye lids then closed . I picked her up , her small fragile body resting on my arms , I was still thunderstruck from how someone that small could be so dangerous and have so much hatred for vampires .I gently layed her on the bed and caught myself gazing at her beauty , her pale face , her perfect jaw structure , how long and smooth her hair was , the bangs of her hair just about covered her eyes making look even more astonishing  , my eyes trailed her soft red lips which I longed for . I didn’t even know her name all I knew was that she was a vampire hunter send to slay me but she failed miserably . I smiled at that thought , but even so there was something about her .I had never seen a girl so brave and enchanting .
