Mourning

Sky's p.o.v.

I looked at the book as I read trying to get my mind off things.

The third in commands funeral was today and his his mate didn't look so good.

I sighed as I plopped my back on the bed wincing a little because of my back.

"sky you need to get ready" Shane stared calmly as he looked pained in the face. because how awful I looked.

I just haven't eaten drank or got up or done anything.

"Ok" is all I said as I got up and went to take a shower which was quick.

After that I got into a pitch black mid thigh dress as I put my hair in a neat bun. I slid on some black leather gloves.

And held Shane's warm comforting arm as we went to the big bonfire. his mate wanted to cremate him.

We sat in out seats as the ceremony began and the alpha made a speech.

"He was a much respected wolf and a very close friend of mine and sadly is lost to us, and to give our respect I pray to the moon goddess that have peace with the moon goddess" he said as I heard him sniffle.

After that his body entered the bonfire instantly. the smoke as if leading its way to the moon in the sky.

I heard a few sniffles and crud in the background that I didn't notice the squeezing grip that I looked up to see Shane hurt and Shame in his eyes.

I squeezed his hand as I hugged him and for the first time I heard a few sniffles and felt a moist spot on my shoulder.

"Shhhh, it's ok" I soothed softly, even though I was hurting.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" there was a huge sinister laughter that echoed the through the forest.

Shane got into a defensive position in front of me and so did the rest of the pack.

That's when screams echoed after and that's when I saw dark angels everywhere slaughtering the pack.

"ATTACK!" I heard the alpha roar "GET THE CHILDREN INSIDE AND PREGNANT WOMEN INSIDE NOW!!"

With that we all shifted and I roared as my white fangs shined in the moonlight.

I jumped up and pounced the first dark angel I saw, while ripping his throat out hearing a satisfying scream.

My mind was blurred as I kept ripping angels throats out, I stopped and looked around to see many wolves dying and so was the angels as the lifeless bodies lay on the already red soaked floor.

I could hear my heartbeat in my ear as everything went slow mo around me.

"SKY!!!" I heard a howl, and was about to see who it was till I saw jess getting flung up in the air.

I roared as I pounding my blood soaked paws on the floor. I jumped in the air as jess shifted human. her face features filled with panic.

But I was knocked out the way by an angel. I hit the ground, the angel about to make the last strike got hit to the side as I saw Shane rip him to pieces.

I shifted human and ran toward where jess was falling down to, but missed as her body splattered on the ground.

"NOOOOOOOO, JESSSS!" I screamed as I fell to my knees. Tears pooled from my eyes while blurring my vision. she's gone.

GONE!!

"JESSICA" I heard another pained howl.

I new rage flared through me.

I shifted and one after another I ripped throats out.

My eyes red with fury I saw the dark demented angel that, caused most of my pain.

We both ran at each other and I roared, we smashed into each other and a big boom echoed thorough the forest.

My mind went blank for a minute and suddenly a flew back as wind forced itself onto my body.

I hit the ground and after a few seconds I flickered my eyes open and there was silence.

"Shane" I called.

Immediately he came to my side and hugged me and I hugged him back completely breaking down.

"Sky" but this was a different voice I looked and saw the vampire prince.

Oh god more shit.....
