Chapter: 12

~~~~~~~~~Few days later~~~~~~~~~

Emma's pov:

I wake up and everything is black.

"Hello?" I ask. I hear no response. I can feel a blanket laying against my body. Something is pressing against my right index finger. I feel something grab my hand and I try to pull away. I cant move what so ever. I don't know where I am. I start to panic, I don't know who or what has my hand, I don't know what they're doing, and I cant see anything. I start hyperventilating and freaking out. I hear a beeping noise start to speed up. What is that? What's going on?

"Emma?" I hear Killian's voice ask. Killian I'm here! I try to speak but nothing comes out. "NURSE SOMEONE GET A NURSE!" I hear him yell. I hear foot steps running in and the whole sudden sounds overwhelm me.

"Sir, you're gonna have to leave." I hear a woman say.

"I'm not leaving her!" He says.

"Sir please." I hear the door close and people rush around me. I hear voices and a clicking sound and I start fading into sleep once more.

Killian's pov;

A nurse ushers me out of Emma's room.

"What the bloody hell is going on?" I ask.

"Sir you're going to need to calm down. We will tell you what we know after we've figured it out. I've just called her parents and they'll be here soon, please wait in the lobby and we'll be with you as soon as we can."

I run my fingers through my air. "Alright." I say and walk over to the lobby and sit in one of their couches. Within a few minutes Snow and Charming enter and walk over to me.

"Whats going on? What happened?" He asks.

"I don't know one moment I was just sitting there and the next minute the machine was going crazy." I explain. Snow looks at David with fear in her eyes. "I don't know what's going on, they told me to leave and they'd tell me what's going on as soon as they can." I cant take this anymore. A nurse walks over to us and I stand up.

"We think her brain is awake. Yet she is still in a coma so its just as if she was paralyzed." She says.

"So she can hear us and feel us, but she cant see or anything." I say.

"Correct."

"Can we see her?" I ask.

"Yes, one at a time now, she might still be a little scared since she's disoriented."

I look over at Snow and David. David trys to walk down the hall but Snow grabs his wrist.

"Killian, why don't you see Emma first, you can comfort her." She says without taking her eyes off of David. I nod and walk over to Emma's room.

David's pov:

Killian walks off to Emma's room and I turn to snow.

"We need to talk." She says. I sigh.

"What is it?" I ask.

"Stop."

"Stop what? I know it wasn't his fault."

"That's not what I mean." She looks at me and concern washes over her face.

"What do you mean then?"

"You are constantly against him, why? Did he do something to you?"

"That's not it."

"What is it then? Because I'm all ears."

"He's a pirate."

"Is that what this is about? Are you seriously attacking our DAUGHTER'S boyfriend because he's a pirate? If so he has more than earned MY trust. If he makes Emma happy that's all that matters, we need to be supportive David."

"I just, don't want her to get hurt." I say. She sighs, shakes her head and smiles.

"She will be fine." She cups my cheeks with her hands. "She has people who care about her."

"I guess you're right." I sigh and smile back.

Killian's POV:

I walk over to Emma's room and see her laying in her bed just as she was before. She can hear me now. I walk over to the left side of her bed and hold her hand. I tuck her stray, blonde hair behind her ear and kiss her forehead.

"Please come back to me Swan."
